A new wind blows. The breath of My Spirit is shifting things. Situations long stuck are being released and set free. “Suddenlies” will abound “for such a time as this!”
There is much work ahead for My people. This month is the “shift.” Rosh Hashanah ushers in the New Year…the new season…and it is sealed on Yom Kippur.
My glory will fall mightily. As darkness ensues…shine all the brighter. Be the city set on the hill!
“Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn
Today we celebrate Pentecost. This is a most powerful day in the Spirit. Pentecost falls 50 days after Passover which commemorates the Jewish exodus from Egypt.
Between Passover and Pentecost is a sacred time not only of anticipation but also of deep reflection.
We have been delivered from sin should we choose to walk in that freedom. We have journeyed through these last 50 days seeking the Spirit.
Our prayer is always that He will come and burn the dross from each of our hearts (for it is always a heart issue) and lives so we may arise in His
The Lord recently put it on my heart to begin publishing “Kingdom Vignettes.” The writings were to specifically be called vignettes…short descriptions.
I looked up the history of the word vignette and according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary: “Vignette comes from Middle French vignete, the diminutive form of the noun vigne, meaning “vine.” In English, the word was first used in the mid-18th century for a design or illustration that ran along the blank border of a page, or one that marked the beginning or end of a chapter. Thank you for your faithfulness to pray weekly for the States that comprise our great Nation and to pray for the United States of America and all in authority over us.
God bless you exponentially,
Michele
In Esther’s Warriors Ministry, we began in 2012 ‘Praying the States’ for healing for our Nation. Now more than ever before our great United States of America needs focused, dedicated prayer.
We are commissioned as prayer warriors to prayer for those in leadership.
Father God, we come before You as this new week begins. We look forward with anticipation for all You have planned for the days ahead.
We thank You for bringing us through every storm. We thank You for walking us through every valley. We thank You for leading us through every wilderness experience.
When our hearts could fail, You and You alone covered us and brought us forward.
This week let us choose to untangle from the ways and concerns of the world.
Father God, as we press into this week we thank You for being our shield, our exceedingly great reward.
Thank You for preparing the way before us, making the crooked way straight and speaking to us in the still small voice of Your Spirit.
Let us have ears to hear and eyes to see what You are showing us in this season. Let us not be deceived but be ever aware of Your direction and leading.
There is a dairy in Southwest Virginia, Homestead Creamery, that puts out special Scripture bottles ever holiday season. The bottles appear around Thanksgiving and continue to be available through December for the current year.
Not all production includes this Scripture bottle so you have to keep an eye out for one. My favorite is their holiday egg nog.
This year each time I went to the grocery store they were sold out of the eggnog. One day I went to check, just in case, and lo and behold there were two holiday bottles of eggnog…only two! I picked them both
Father God, we come before You as we embark upon this new week. This time is fresh with opportunity to serve You and follow Your Spirit’s lead.
Give us ears to hear and eyes to see the way You would have us walk out each day. Shod our feet with the Gospel of peace that we may take Your peace into all the world You place before us.
Empower us to bring every thought captive. Let our words resonate in complete alignment with
