Do you allow your vision to be enriched by the Word of God? Has the Word made the way deep into your heart? Or, do you just see the Bible as an intellectual journey of endless discussion, memorization and repeating of chapter and verse? Do you perceive your life from a spiritual perspective or simply by what you see happening around you?
If the Word is to take root it must reside in your heart. All the head knowledge in the world will not manifest in an anointed fulfillment of your vision.

As mentioned before, I begin each year afresh in reading the Bible through with daily readings from the Old Testament and the New Testament. A former Pastor of mine used to get so excited each year-end as he anticipated starting the New Year with a new Bible translation. With his encouragement I began my own annual reading many years ago. As you read or hear of current events each day there is division everywhere. Our country is divided on seemingly every issue to include socio-economic, racial, political, sexual orientation and the list goes on. What is most troubling to me is the stark division within the body of Christ.
