How is Your Root System?

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

Blessings to you and yours.  We are moving through the last month of summer gatherings with family and friends.  Summer is a more light hearted time with much outdoor activity to enjoy.  It is a season with its own brand of pleasure, sights and tastes to delight everyone.  For many of us summer is a time to spend in nature.  Perhaps we garden to provide wholesome food for our family.  Perhaps we enjoy planting and nurturing a plethora of blooms and colors to enhance our little corner of the world.  Perhaps we just like to walk and … Read the rest

Be a Lush Garden

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

Praying this finds you well and enjoying your summer.  It has surely been a hot summer with record setting drought throughout our country.  A drought in the natural results when there is not enough rain.  Without sufficient water the ground dries and hardens.  This hardening prevents the continued growth of what was previously planted.  It also cancels the possibility of new growth.

Let Your Heart Flourish

Just as a drought can take place in nature, it can also happen within our own heart (and it is always a heart issue).  Think about it.  If we do not

A True Friend

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

This week we witnessed as a Nation the unfolding story in Aurora, Colorado of what has been deemed the largest massacre in American history.  The horror experienced by all in the theater is now rippling across our country.  Please hold all in prayer for healing as families and friends grieve loved ones.  Pray also for those who survived and for those who remain hospitalized with injury for strength and restoration.  Many stories are emerging of boyfriends who gave their lives covering their girlfriend’s body so that she might live. I am sure that we will hear more … Read the rest

Grow in Stillness

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

“Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.”  (Job 37:14)  In the busy summer months it is good for us to “stand still” at times.  It is only in the stillness that we make a space to reflect.  God’s presence is all around us but if we stay in a whirlwind of activity coupled with emotional drama and mental gymnastics we can easily miss it.  He created us to be free.  He created us to be free enough to readily consider His wondrous works throughout our day.  My prayer is that we will each “stand still” … Read the rest

Walk in Peace!

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

I pray this finds you well and prospering!  So many issues are surfacing and swirling around as we approach the Presidential election.   In Esther’s Warriors we commit to pray for our Nation.   In this season we pray for wisdom and discernment for all who will be casting their vote in November.  Freedom as we know it and our very history of democracy lie in the balance.  We are in a very precarious place tipping toward socialism more and more.  Our first responsibility is to pray.  Following that we must be well informed and study the issues.  Now … Read the rest

The Root of American Freedom

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

As we begin the month of July we will be celebrating the commemoration of our country’s adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.  Let us remember that our independence and freedom rested then and continues to rest on the Lord and those willing to sacrifice to keep us free.  Today our military personnel risk all so we can be home and celebrate July 4 with parades and barbecues.  Let us not forget the price that they and their families pay for each and every one of us.

America Declaration of

What is Abundant Life?

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

Happy Father’s Day!  I pray this finds you with a day full of thanksgiving for the father or father figure in your life.  If you are blessed to still have this man in your life, let him know how much he means to you.  For all you dads, may God continue to lead you as you lead your family.

Abundant Life

This week through a conversation with a friend about what constitutes abundant life, I have pondered much and gained some insight I would like to share with you.  Jesus promised in John 10:10b, “I have come … Read the rest

June 14, National Flag Day

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

Today is National Flag Day as designated by Congress in 1949.  The American flag, “Old Glory,” “The Red, White and Blue,” has a long history of representing the principles of freedom for which our country stands.  Many have fought and died and continue to fight to keep our flag flying as a beacon of hope and freedom to all.

Fly the American flag today and every day to keep the spirit of America alive.  This is our United States of America and now more than ever we need to show our solidarity and pride to be American.  … Read the rest

What Can You Do for the Red, White and Blue?

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

Blessings as we begin another week.  This Thursday, June 14, is Flag Day in our United States of America. Our flag has a long history officially beginning on June 14, 1777 when the Continental Congress passed the first Flag Act. By an Act of Congress on August 8,1949, President Truman established National Flag Day as June 14.  This declaration gave our national symbol of strength and unity a place on our calendar to show our patriotism with the most well-known representation of America.  The thirteen stripes represent the original colonies and the iffty stars represent the states.

D-Day June 6, 1944

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

Today marks the commemoration of D-Day when Allied troops invaded Nazi-occupied Europe.  The following is an excerpt from a prayer read by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to the nation:  …”[Our men] fight to liberate. They fight to let justice arise and tolerance and goodwill among all Thy people.  They yearn but for the end of battle, for their return to the haven of home.  Some will never return.  Embrace these, Father, and receive them, Thy heroic servants into Thy kingdom.”  Quote taken from In God We Still Trust, A 365 -Day Devotional by Dr. Richard G. Lee, Read the rest
