Blessings as we progress together through February.  I pray you are strengthening your trust in Him and what He has for you.  This coming Saturday is Valentine’s Day. Sadly, it has become a day with such commercial focus.   Setting aside a special time to appreciate those we love is certainly important.  However, we are called to love one another on a daily basis.  Do not  limit your celebration of those in your life to just a few commercial holidays.

In Esther’s Warriors Ministry we are ‘praying the states’ for healing for our Nation.  Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people.    We go before the King to intercede for our Nation ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14).  We pray weekly by state in the order of admission to the Union.  Our Nation now more than ever needs consistent, diligent prayer cover state by state.

Tomorrow is Groundhog Day in the United States and Canada.  Many await the outcome of whether or not the infamous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, will see his shadow.  As legend has it, seeing his shadow means six more weeks of winter.  For those living in cold winter locations Groundhog Day brings much conversation about the season and the hope of spring.

Tomorrow, January 19, 2015, at 12:30, there is a National call to prayer for this country. The vision of Lionel Harris of Virginia, #therooftop will see cities opening rooftops for people to gather and pray. If your city does not have a set location, pray united with others or pray alone joining your prayers with all praying at that time. Harris asks believers to pray for:-Unity in the body of Christ-Healing in the hearts of our country’s leaders

-Healing for those who have been the victims of racism
