In this season, many seem to have much through church programs, emotional displays of worship, Bible head knowledge, the false comfort of religious doctrine and worldly trappings of success.
Yet, they lack the mysteries of the Kingdom of God and the power thereof.
Take heed.
For it is written:
“Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.”

“I must preach the kingdom of God…because for this purpose I have been sent.”

If you really choose to make Jesus the Lord of your life, your worldliness should decrease as His Kingdom reflection increases in you.
You should become more and more like Him.
Your life should reflect the Kingdom of God.
Whether you preach out loud with words or by how you live you should be preaching the Kingdom of God not the religious doctrine and worldly ways of men.
Learn the difference.
It is huge!

If you do not know God’s Word, but know only man’s words and doctrine, you will be deceived.
It is never too late.
Read the Word.
Hear the Word.
Speak the Word into your situation.
Get the Word deep in your heart.
For it is written:
“Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am Christ,’ and will deceive many.”

Despite what you may have been laboring for or what you may see in your natural circumstance, launch out into the deep with God.
Listen only to His Word, not the words of the ones around you in the boat who only see with natural eyes and speak worldly concepts.
It is in the deep that you will be filled to overflow to go forward.
When Jesus told Simon, a fisherman, to launch out into the deep, Simon let Him know that they had been toiling all night and caught nothing.
Simon recounted their past experience which Jesus already knew. …

Jesus is love, compassion, grace and so much more. If you claim to follow Him, your life should become a reflection of Him and Him alone. Looking like other Christians does not make you a follower of Jesus. Growing more and more like Him does. Seek Him . Sit with Him . Come to know Him . For it is written: “ He must increase, but I must decrease. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.” John 3:30-31 …

If you choose to follow Jesus but do not accept His peace you are shortchanging yourself.
His peace is not as the world defines peace.
So, if you are looking for peace in a worldly situation, you will not find it.
Seek Him first.
Rest in His peace despite your situation.
It is possible.
For it is written:
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Do not judge what you think you see.
Just because someone else’s challenge does not look like your challenge does not make it any less valid or real.

Religion in and of itself brings little peace to the weary soul journeying through this world.
Relationship with Jesus, on the other hand, is a total game changer.
For it is written:
“Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Jesus never promised us a rose garden.
He told us in this world we would have tribulation, but He has overcome the world.
He also told us, as it is written,
“Peace I leave you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

The choice is yours really.
You can live defeated with a victim mentality or fully follow Him and His ways and walk victorious in the peace He promised.
