Father God, we come humbly before You this day with hearts filled with thanksgiving for the glorious resurrection of Your Son.  It is through His life, death and resurrection that salvation became available to all mankind.

Let us freely and willingly walk in the grace of our salvation.  Anoint us to diligently walk each day in the resurrection power that heals the sick, raises the dead, casts out demons and more.

I wish you a blessed Resurrection Sunday!  As you gather with family and friends remember the real reason we celebrate today.  Jesus left an empty tomb and rose from the dead.  Rather than an earthly king as some believed, He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords.  Many view Him as simply a great prophet but no other prophet rose from the dead!  No other prophet is the Son of God.   No other prophet died to open the door to eternal salvation for those who believe in Him.  Only … Read the rest

Blessings as we enter the season of Advent!  The word Advent comes from the Latin word adventus which means coming.  From now until Christmas we anticipate the commemoration of the first coming of Jesus Christ to earth at His birth.  We also are reminded of and await His second coming.  Advent is a season filled with expectation.  It is a consecrated period to prepare our heart by clearing out what is not of God.  It is a time to choose to allow the Holy Spirit to infuse us with power to go forth and bring God’s Kingdom … Read the rest
