Tonight at sundown our Jewish brothers and sisters celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. It is also the first of ten days of repentance culminating in Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. We in America are fifty days from the Presidential election on November 6, 2012. I would ask that our corporate intention in Esther’s Warriors would be to spend the next ten days in a spirit of repentance both personally and for our Nation.

Never Forget 9-11-01

On this anniversary of the horrific attacks on our Nation in 2001 let us pray for God’s continued safety for the United States of America. Let us remember all who died on that day but will never be forgotten. Pray for their families, friends and loved ones who forever hold them in their hearts. Pray for all 9/11 survivors and first responders for peace and health.

Grow in Stillness

“Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.” (Job 37:14) In the busy summer months it is good for us to “stand still” at times. It is only in the stillness that we make a space to reflect. God’s presence is all around us but if we stay in a whirlwind of activity coupled with emotional drama and mental gymnastics we can easily miss it. He created us to be free.
