This is a season of blessings and miracles. Take time to be grateful for the everyday miracles in your life. I see and hear much in ministry about the challenges people face every day.
Many of us will never know the challenge of being confined to a wheelchair or being unable to hear or speak or see. Countless live with chronic pain that limits their life and ability to interact with others. Countless others are challenged with anxiety, addiction, PTSD. The list goes on.
Whatever may be your challenge, never let it define you for you are so much more
In Esther’s Warriors Ministry, we began in 2012 ‘praying the states’ for healing for our Nation. Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people. We go before the King to intercede for our Nation ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14). We pray for each state in the order of admission to the Union and will continue. Our Nation more than ever needs consistent, diligent prayer cover state by state.
I wish you a most blessed second week of Advent! Last week’s theme was peace. I pray you are successful in ‘being the peace’ in your world. It is not always easy but with intention you can live in the peace Jesus died to give you. Live with purpose seeking first the Kingdom of God and all will be added unto you. Keep His peace in your heart (for it is always a heart issue) throughout the year and it will emanate to those around you.
For those of you who are not on certain Social Media sites, I publish “Short Takes” every day. Below are the takes for last week. Also are included links to short posts “From the Archives of Esther’s Warriors Ministry.” I pray they bless you and keep you striving toward a full Kingdom walk ‘for such a time as this!’
God Bless,
Michele

Today marks the 76th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Over 2,400 lost their lives. Many others were wounded. The attack on Battleship Row marked the beginning of WWII.
The sacrifices our military and their families make are inconceivable. Throughout our history our Veterans have given much for our freedom. All gave some. Some gave all. On this day which will live in infamy, take a moment to pray for our Veterans and all who serve today to keep us free. Pray for their families.

This week marks the beginning of the Advent season. Derived from the Latin word adventus which means coming, the next weeks are spent in anticipation of commemoration of the birth of the Messiah. As Christians we also wait for the second coming of Jesus Christ to earth. As we await Christmas and His second coming we have an opportunity especially in this Advent season to ‘start again’ as His mercies are new every morning.

People watching at restaurants is one of my favorite pastimes. What I know is that no one eats alone. Whether with others at the table or not, cell phones or computers are always present and in use. I have seen entire meals spent on the phone while a person is sitting with someone.
WOW-when did we as a culture become so disrespectful of one another? 99.9% of what I hear (for some reason folks talk extra loud on their cells) is just chatter. Turn off the electronics! Really engage with those around you.
