Blessings on this Memorial Day weekend.  As you gather with family and friends remember those who gave all in service to our country.  On Memorial Day we in the United States of America honor the memory of our fallen throughout the history of our Nation.  These brave men and women paid the ultimate price to keep this land free.  On this day and every day pray for those who are serving now.  Pray for their families who serve as well.  Pray for all who have come home wounded.

Wishing all a Happy Mother’s Day!  The importance of a mother figure in one’s life cannot be diminished.  Whether by blood or other relationship God places mothers.  Some may not be loving, supportive and nurturing but there are others who can ‘mother’ where there may be deficits.  My prayer is that you realize what a blessing it is to have a mom however God has presented that in your life.  Remember your mom or ‘moms’ today.  Thank them for doing their very best to love you.
