Father God, we thank You that You sent Your Son Jesus Christ as the hope of our salvation. During this second week in Advent, let us not grow weary.
Strengthen us with Your hope. Strengthen us with Your Word. Let us bring the light of Your hope to all we encounter in this darkened world. Grace us to look ever forward.
Equip us to walk in the hope of our salvation to bring Your Kingdom to earth as it is in heaven.
Shabbat (Sabbath) means to stop work and to be refreshed. Sabbath creates a space to be given new life and energy. Shalom is God’s perfect peace. Shalom is the absence of agitation and discord.
“I go before you always…come follow Me and I will give you rest.”
Live in My Shalom.
Breathe in My Shalom.
Walk it all out in My Shalom.
My Shalom is all encompassing…it is all enveloping.
For those of you who are not on certain Social Media sites, I publish “Short Takes” every day. Below are the takes for last week. I pray they bless you and keep you striving toward a full Kingdom walk ‘for such a time as this!’
God Bless,
Michele
~Today is the first day of the rest of your life. What is your plan? Put God first and you will be amazed at the direction He will take you.
~Encourage one another!
~Use encouraging words to bring life to people and situations. There is power in what you
In Esther’s Warriors Ministry, we began in 2012 ‘praying the states’ for healing for our Nation. Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people. We go before the King to intercede for our Nation ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14). We pray for each state in the order of admission to the Union and will continue. Our Nation more than ever needs consistent, diligent prayer cover state by state.
Father God, we come before You this first Sunday in Advent and we seek Your grace. Keep us focused ever on You this week and grant us Your peace. In a season wrought with excess and strife keep us in peace. In a time of superfluous materialism keep us in humility and keep us in Your peace.
Your peace You leave us. Your peace You give us. Your peace is not as the world gives. Let us not be troubled. Let us not
This week marks the beginning of the Advent season. Derived from the Latin word adventus which means coming, the next weeks are spent in anticipation of commemoration of the birth of the Messiah. As Christians we also wait for the second coming of Jesus Christ to earth. As we await Christmas and His second coming we have an opportunity especially in this Advent season to ‘start again’ as His mercies are new every morning.

~Rather than focus on what isn’t right in your life…Look for what is positive!
~If a situation is toxic, walk away in love…but walk away. Keep yourself safe!
~Love heals all. Be love. Bring love to every situation!
~Seek God’s prefect will. Never settle for His permissive will.

Father God we come to You today with repentant hearts as we begin the new week. Touch our lives with Your grace and heal every broken place.
Seal us with Your Holy Spirit and anoint us to hear and follow His lead each day. Be the Balm of Gilead to touch and heal each heart shattered by life trauma. Make every crooked way straight in each mind tormented by fear and anxiety.
Cleanse us with the blood of Jesus to arise fully restored
