Let the Fire Fall!

Today is Pentecost Sunday which commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and followers of Jesus Christ in the Book of Acts.  It comes 50 days after His resurrection and actually coincides with the Jewish Festival of Weeks, Shavuot in Hebrew.  The term Pentecost is derived from the Greek, pentekostos, meaning fifty.

In this season, many walk in pride.  Pride is not always blatant.  Pride is not always obvious.  But remember, what comes next after pride is never a good thing.

Stay humble before the Lord.

Daily Inspiration-There is One Who Never Changes!

Jesus Christ is the same today as He was when He walked the earth.  He  touched and healed over 2000 years ago.  He touches and heals today.  He will touch and heal tomorrow.

Know that.

He does not change.

It is only the opinion of man about Him that changes.

He does not change.

Do not let the doctrine of man keep you from the fullness of your relationship with and calling in Jesus Christ!

Daily Inspiration-What is Your Witness?

Remember, if you call yourself a follower of Christ, you are to be a witness for Him everywhere you go.

If you are mean spirited, judgmental and divisional you are not representing His way.  In fact, your presentation is just the opposite.

Get help.  Seek His Holy Spirit to transform your heart (for it is always a heart issue) and then step out.

The world is watching.

“For you will be a witness for Him to all men of what you have seen and heard.”  Acts 22:15

People will always disappoint.  Even the most well-meaning among us will let others down at times.  We strive for perfection but alas we are human.

Do your best in relationship with others.  Forgive fully and move forward.

But remember, there is One Who can be counted on all the time.

Diligently seek your relationship with the Lord. Put your trust in Him.

For it is written:

“Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have.  For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.””

Daily Inspiration-Trust Him Through The Middle!

Sometimes you can pray for someone or something and think that God is not answering your prayers.  Never quit praying.

The answer can lie in God’s timing rather than yours.  The answer could be manifesting in ways you are not envisioning.

God really does know best.  He and He alone sees the heart.  He and He alone sees the end from the beginning.

  Never let thoughts of doubt cloud your vision.

Trust Him through the middle!

Daily Inspiration-Seek Wisdom “For Such A Time As This!”

Maturity is not a given with numerical age.  Wisdom is not necessarily something that comes with the passage of years.  To grow beyond yourself is surely a start.

See the needs of others.  Be a blessing.

Instead of chasing after things, seek the Lord’s wisdom for your life.  Let Him work in you and through you for the glory of His Kingdom “for such a time as this!”

For it is written:

  “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, Who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

James 1:5
