On September 11 each year, we set time aside to remember the Islamic terrorist attacks on the United States of America on September 11, 2001. As a Nation we observe several moments of silence beginning at 8:46 am Eastern Daylight Time to remember the innocent victims who lost their lives in New York City, Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
