Yesterday began the season of Lent. It was also Valentine’s Day when everyone thinks about love and hearts and flowers. It is interesting that Lent began on a day dedicated to love. There is not greater love than the love Jesus Christ has for you. There is no greater love!
During the 40 day journey of Lent, Christians around the world take time to fast, pray and seek God during these days leading up to Resurrection Sunday. As children we were focused on giving up something for Lent. Usually this was candy
Rather than rehearsing the negative, embrace whatever is good and lovely.
There is much that is positive.
Look for it!
For it is written:
“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”
Are you believing for a miracle in your life? Your miracle could be for restoration of health, relationship, finances or a myriad of other issues. Many are so focused on their big desired miracle that they miss the voluminous miracles taking place daily right in front of them.
Have you become so focused on your miracle that you have become angry with God for not producing instantly? Are you so focused on your miracle that you no longer walk in thanksgiving for all that you do have in your life? Are you
In Esther’s Warriors Ministry, we began in 2012 ‘praying the states’ for healing for our Nation. Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people. We go before the King to intercede for our Nation ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14). We pray for each state in the order of admission to the Union and will continue. Our Nation more than ever needs consistent, diligent prayer cover state by state.

In reading Psalms the other day I read that “fretting” causes harm. I immediately thought of how Jesus tells us not to worry. Worry is synonymous with anxiety and fear.
Countless studies have shown that to live in a state of chronic stress or worry is most detrimental to your health on all levels. Mentally and emotionally it leads to depression. Physically is causes disease to include heart disease, cancer, etc. Spiritually, it keeps you far from God.
Think about it. If you are steeped in worry and all of its components
Sometimes, when you least expect it, things change. What appeared stuck for so long suddenly shifts. It is as if the sun comes out after a seemingly long downpour.
Just as the grass glistens after the rain, so the world around you sparkles with new life. There is fresh opportunity. There is fresh anointing. There is fresh revelation.
Wait for it. Watch for it. Do not miss it!
For it is written:
“Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write,
What’s your plan? So many go through life letting life happen to them. As a ship tossed about in the waves, their life is precarious with constant ups and downs. Each new event can serve to capsize them if there is no plan.
The Apostles chose to follow Jesus into a boat. They were fine with their decision to follow Him until the storm arose. When they were in the boat being tossed to and fro they became so fearful. They had no plan. Their original plan to follow Him did not
In this technological age much courtesy has been lost. People watch TV while talking on the phone, text and talk on cell phones while sharing a meal with someone. Bottom line is that this is extremely rude at a minimum.
It is quite prideful to think that another person’s time has no value. In essence, when you devalue another’s time you devalue them. Determine to be respectful of others.
Intentionally listen without texting or answering another call. Turn off the TV if you are speaking with another. Be present to the one
