Choose the Light of Life!

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

This week our Jewish brothers and sisters are celebrating Hanukkah, the festival of lights.  When the Israelites recaptured their temple from the Syrian Greeks around 300 B.C. they recovered a single vial of oil.  This could provide light for one day and night yet when lit it continued to shine for eight.  A miracle to be sure.

Light or Dark?

As Christians we know Jesus is the light of the world.  His light shines before all men all the time.  He says, “I am the light of the world.  He who follows Me shall not walk Read the rest

“God Talk or God Walk?”

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

Blessings as we enter the season of Advent!  The word Advent comes from the Latin word adventus which means coming.  From now until Christmas we anticipate the commemoration of the first coming of Jesus Christ to earth at His birth.  We also are reminded of and await His second coming.  Advent is a season filled with expectation.  It is a consecrated period to prepare our heart by clearing out what is not of God.  It is a time to choose to allow the Holy Spirit to infuse us with power to go forth and bring God’s Kingdom … Read the rest

Pray the States!

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

This year we in Esther’s Warriors Ministry started ‘praying the states’ toward the 2012 Presidential election.  We pray for each state in the order of admission to the Union and will continue.  Our Nation more than ever needs consistent, diligent prayer cover state by state.  This week please cover Oklahoma admitted to the Union November 16, 1907, in prayer.  Pray for wisdom and discernment for the political leaders, pastors and church leaders, the people residing in Oklahoma and for all in our Nation.

Each state is important in forming our United States of America.  We commit to … Read the rest

Are You Ready for Revival?

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

There is much talk of revival these days.   We in Esther’s Warriors pray not
just for revival but for a lasting reformation.  The signs are clear for those with ears to hear. There is the sound of approaching Holy Spirit fire sweeping across the land.  Are you ready?

Check Your Atmosphere

We have the opportunity as Christians to live in an atmosphere of revival every day.  We have the choice to live fully for Christ every day.  We have the responsibility to walk out an empowered Kingdom walk every day.  It all begins in your heart (not … Read the rest

Does Your Heart Beat With Unity Or Division?

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

If you had a chance to watch the Vice Presidential debate this past week you would have observed VP Joe Biden’s demeanor as disruptive, condescending, dismissive, and downright rude. Romans 16:17 tells us, “Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.”  At no other time in our history as a Nation have we had such divisive rhetoric as we have with this administration.  Attempts to divide us across racial, economic and class lines have fractured our country internally and our strength as a … Read the rest

Come Forth!

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

Blessings on this first Sunday in June!  It is wonderful to see flowers and trees in bloom and all God’s creatures scurrying about enjoying the warmer weather.  However, we continue to see unprecedented weather disasters across the globe.   Please hold all affected in prayer for safety and restoration.

An Encouraging Word

Take a moment to read John 11:38-44 and be encouraged. It is the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead.  This has truly been one of my favorite Bible stories since childhood.  Even as a young child, I reasoned that if Jesus could raise Lazarus … Read the rest

Is God In Your Social Network?

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

May God’s blessing be upon you today and every day!  We are swiftly moving through the month of March and on toward Resurrection Sunday.  As we progress through the season of Lent how is your relationship with the Lord?  Have you purposed to spend more time with Him, read the Bible more, set aside prayer time to commune with His Spirit?

In our fast paced world we can easily diminish our time with Him and after a while that consecrated time can become a thing of the past without our even realizing it.  I watch people and … Read the rest
