Make no mistake, God has an awesome plan for you.

If you are like me, you would like Him to sit down with you in person at the table and hand you the complete blueprint of your life.

Lovely thought but not really how it works.

Complete trust, faith, and laying your life fully at His feet is how it is done.

Try it.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

If you do not know God’s Word, but know only man’s words and doctrine, you will be deceived.

It is never too late.

Read the Word.

Hear the Word.

Speak the Word into your situation.

Get the Word deep in your heart.

For it is written:

“Take heed that no one deceives you.  For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am Christ,’ and will deceive many.”

Daily Inspiration-Launch Out Into the Deep!

Despite what you may have been laboring for or what you may see in your natural circumstance, launch out into the deep with God.

Listen only to His Word, not the words of the ones around you in the boat who only see with natural eyes and speak worldly concepts.

It is in the deep that you will be filled to overflow to go forward.

When Jesus told Simon, a fisherman,  to launch out into the deep, Simon let Him know that they had been toiling all night and caught nothing.

Simon recounted their past experience which Jesus already knew.

If you choose to follow Jesus but do not accept His peace you are shortchanging yourself.

His peace is not as the world defines peace.

So, if you are looking for peace in a worldly situation, you will not find it.

Seek Him first.

Rest in His peace despite your situation.

It is possible.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Do not judge what you think you see.

Just because someone else’s challenge does not look like your challenge does not make it any less valid or real.

Daily Inspiration-What Do You Hear?

Cannot hear from God?

Rather than 1) recounting all that is going wrong (believe me, He already knows more about it than you do); or, 2) all that you want Him to do in your situation in excruciating detail (again, He already knows more about what is needed and when), simply be still.

Simply sit in thanksgiving for all He is and has done for you and simply praise Him.

Then, be quiet.

Be really quiet.

It is only then that you can hear His still small voice.
