Be very aware of what you speak over yourself and others. Be very aware of what you speak into your situation. Every careless word spoken has eternal implications.
Further, do not ruminate over what was spoken or done to you in the past. It is now long beyond time to release the people and situations with forgiveness. Release yourself.
Take responsibility for the adult you who stands here today. Change your words. Speak love and hope. Change your life!
For it is written:
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat
2017 is moving forward so quickly. This is a season of swift reversal of things that have long appeared stuck.
Think of the man who was blind from birth. Religious folk questioned whose sin had resulted in his condition. Was it his sin? Was it generational…a sin of his parents? Religious folk today still love to judge and determine in their minds how whatever sin they perceive in your life has created your situation.
Challenges can be brought on through the open door of sin for sure. But this is not always the case. If you have repentantly searched your
“The Lord bless you and keep you;the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
Numbers 6:24-26
I pray this blessing over you today and every day.
Walk in His grace and blessing in your life in Jesus’ name.
Sometimes just having something confirmed is reassuring even if the information itself is not necessarily positive.
To fight effectively you must know your enemy. It is the art of war. Know your enemy before you engage. More importantly, know where your strength lies.
For it is written:
“The thief [enemy] comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
Jesus
John 10:10
Your victory lies in the One who is victorious over every enemy that would come against you. Your victory lies in Jesus Christ!
People will always disappoint. Even the most well-meaning among us will let others down at times. We strive for perfection but alas we are human.
Do your best in relationship with others. Forgive fully and move forward.
But remember, there is One Who can be counted on all the time.
Diligently seek your relationship with the Lord. Put your trust in Him.
For it is written:
“Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.””
The key is really where you sit every single day. Spend time sitting at the feet of Jesus as in the end this is the most important seat in the house.
Sitting at His feet will change you. Sitting at His feet will renew your mind. Sitting at His feet will direct you to the narrow road which leads to everlasting life.
For it is written:
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Each day is a gift. God in His goodness ushers in renewal every day. Do not look back.
Walk in the new. Look for the renewal. Speak new life into your situation.
Do not miss the new because you are ruminating over the old.
For it is written:
“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
Instead of constantly talking about and complaining about someone, take the time to pray for them.
Let the Holy Spirit soften your heart to cover them in prayer. Bless them. Sincerely believe for God’s direction and help in their life.
For, we are all human. Not one of us is perfect. Often, what bothers us about another is something we ourselves find challenging even if subconsciously. There but for the grace of God we would manifest the very same actions. Pray for those who upset you. Pray for those who spitefully use you. Pray for those who…
Maturity is not a given with numerical age. Wisdom is not necessarily something that comes with the passage of years. To grow beyond yourself is surely a start.
See the needs of others. Be a blessing.
Instead of chasing after things, seek the Lord’s wisdom for your life. Let Him work in you and through you for the glory of His Kingdom “for such a time as this!”
For it is written:
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, Who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
