Kairos/Chronos-What Is It All About?

As Chronos?
For the past several weeks I have been thinking about the difference between chronos and kairos time. Strong’s Concordance defines chronos (5550) as time, a particular time. Kairos (2540) is defined as a fitting season or appointed time. Chronos is applicable to chronological time in the natural while kairos is a set time of heavenly import. In Esther’s Warriors Ministry we are ‘praying the states’ for healing for our Nation. Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people. We go before the King to intercede for our Nation ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14). We pray weekly by state in the order of admission to the Union.
