Does Your Heart Beat With Unity Or Division?

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

If you had a chance to watch the Vice Presidential debate this past week you would have observed VP Joe Biden’s demeanor as disruptive, condescending, dismissive, and downright rude. Romans 16:17 tells us, “Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.”  At no other time in our history as a Nation have we had such divisive rhetoric as we have with this administration.  Attempts to divide us across racial, economic and class lines have fractured our country internally and our strength as a … Read the rest

The fall season is officially upon us this week. Temperatures shift.  Harvest preparations begin.  On Tuesday at sundown our Jewish brothers and sisters begin the feast of Yom Kippur.  The Day of Atonement as presented in Leviticus 16:29-32, is a call to fast and pray for forgiveness.

This is a most solemn time yet a joyful time as there is a confidence that God will hear and position us for the next year.  It is a sacred time of at-one-ment with the Lord.  It is a humbling time that calls us to review the past year yet

Praying this finds you well and enjoying your summer.  It has surely been a hot summer with record setting drought throughout our country.  A drought in the natural results when there is not enough rain.  Without sufficient water the ground dries and hardens.  This hardening prevents the continued growth of what was previously planted.  It also cancels the possibility of new growth.

Let Your Heart Flourish

Just as a drought can take place in nature, it can also happen within our own heart (and it is always a heart issue).  Think about it.  If we do not

Praying you have a blessed Memorial Day with family and friends.  This is a day to commemorate those who gave up their lives so we could live and enjoy ours.  Former U.S. Secretary of State, Colin Powell stated, “Over the years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders.  The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those who did not return.”  Take a moment to prayerfully remember all whose families and friends never … Read the rest

Blessings as we begin Holy Week!  This is considered the holiest week for believers as it begins with Jesus’s triumphant arrival in Jerusalem; includes His most humbling act of servitude when He washes the disciple’s feet; the last supper with His followers on earth before His crucifixion; His suffering and death on the cross and His glorious resurrection from the dead.  It is a week like no other in history lived out by the Son of God to die for our sins and set us free if we choose to follow Him.  Wow!  Take a minute and … Read the rest

Blessings!  Did you remember to set your clocks ahead last night?   The term ‘spring forward’ always amused me as we actually lose an hour of sleep.  I don’t know about you but losing that hour can take the spring out of your step until your body adjusts!  The good news is that spring is well on the way and brings a season of new growth and renewed hope.  Life seems just a little bit better when flowers begin to bloom and the earth comes alive with the smells and sounds of nature.  God’s palate of color far … Read the rest

I pray this finds you well and looking forward to spring.  For many across our Nation this has been a week of devastating tornadoes.  Please remember throughout the coming months to keep all affected in prayer for safety, healing, recovery and strength during such overwhelming loss.   We have been experiencing unusual and severe weather occurrences in our country which only serve to highlight the need for continual fervent intercession for this United States of America.  Thank you for your faithfulness to pray God’s cover over our land.

A Lenten Reflection

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

This week we celebrate President’s Day in honor of all Presidents
in our Nation’s history.  Who do you admire most as President?  A February 18, 2012, Gallup poll indicated that Ronald Reagan ranked number one.  In his inaugural address on January 21, 1985, he said, “May He continue to hold us close as we fill the world with our sound…one people under God, dedicated to the dream of freedom that He placed in the human heart, called upon now to pass that dream on to a waiting and hopeful world.”  May He continue to hold us close … Read the rest
