This Christmas as you sit down at your holiday table surrounded by friends and loved ones; make sure you leave room for Jesus.
Offer thanks for the freedom you experience to be able to celebrate this day.
Never forget our true freedom this day and every day lies in Jesus Christ. All freedom begins there.
Today, as we commemorate His first coming to earth and await His second coming, let us pray for those less fortunate.
Remember those who are alone this day. Offer a prayer for the lonely, the disenfranchised, those who have lost loved ones and see an empty chair.
Pray for all our service men and women and their families. Those who cannot be with loved ones are selflessly serving to ensure our freedom to celebrate on this day. Their families also see an empty chair…some permanently. For those who lost their lives protecting this great United States of America we offer our gratitude for their sacrifice…we hold their families in prayer this day.
Pray for all first responders and their families. May God keep them safe as they work and comfort those whose loved ones have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect us.
Pray for all persecuted Christians and Jews throughout the world that God’s grace will be with them in trial. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
So, my beloved, as you sit down to your Christmas table this day may God exponentially bless you and yours with His peace, grace, mercy, compassion and love. Love those God has placed in your life.
May your hearts be open to His presence for that alone is the greatest present!
If you have not yet made the decision to accept Jesus Christ into your heart, do it now. Do not wait another minute. Speak to Him from your heart (for it is always a heart issue). Tell Him you have fallen short in your life. Sincerely apologize for your sins. Ask Him to cleanse you and come into your heart and be Lord over your life. From this moment forward, let His Spirit guide you along the narrow road that leads to everlasting life!
