Happy New Year! I pray this finds you filled with anticipation of what the Lord has in store for you in 2012. With 2011 now behind us, remember what Jesus said in Luke 9:59, 62, “Follow Me…No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” He was discussing the true cost of discipleship, part of which requires us to follow Him forward and not look back to things that would hinder our Kingdom work on this earth for Him. On this first day of the year it is good to set our sights forward with expectation for all the Lord can do in the coming year.
This is a year of promise fulfilled–a year of positioning. Last year was one of transition-of shaking-of sifting and shifting. The Lord is placing His people–positioning us for destiny for ‘such a time as this.’ Like the waves of the ocean He washes over us to cleanse us and bring us to a place of refreshment in Him to go forward in what He has for us. 2012 is a year of great promise! He goes before us always and tells us…”Come, follow Me.” His people will hear His voice and not be led astray by worldly enticements. There is much to be done by those who have ears to hear what the Spirit of Lord is saying in this season.
Release all unforgiveness. Shed it as a worn garment and clothe yourself
in a spirit of forgiveness moment to moment. For it is in forgiving that we are set free–free to live life more abundantly. Jesus came to set us free–free of heart issues that would bind us to earthly patterns of living. It is always a heart issue. Choose this day to release any heart issues that are not in line with His heart. Just as He forgave us so also we must forgive. “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32)
Step into position in 2012 with a heart free to possess the land set before you. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11) 2012 is our future and in Him it is our hope!
Thank you for your faithfulness to pray. On this New Year’s Day pray that
the coming year will bring fresh water, food, safe housing, work, and needed medical attention to those less fortunate. And always, pray for our service men and women for salvation, for safety, for their families. God bless you mightily in 2012!
From my heart I always say Thank You! during my thought connection
From a heart stance of thankfulness may your life be truly blessed!
As soon as I detected this web site I went on reddit to share some of the love with them.
