For those of you who are not on certain Social Media sites, I publish “Short Takes” every day. Below are the takes for last week. I pray they bless you and keep you striving toward a full Kingdom walk ‘for such a time as this!’
God Bless,
Michele
~Perhaps you were rejected. Perhaps you were simply offended. Do not let offense stop relationship!
~Some are so jaded they hear only through past pain. Do not let past pain ensconce you. Discern. Let someone close.
~Seek God’s perfect will. Never settle for His permissive will. Do not live in your own will.
~ Forgive as you have been forgiven. No relationship is perfect but any relationship worth having is surely worth saving.
~ Offer grace one to another. We all make mistakes.
~ Two of my closest, longtime friends recently passed away within weeks of each other. Their loss in my life is palpable. Thankfully, in each situation, the last thing we ever said to each other was, “I love you.” You truly do not know what tomorrow will bring. Once gone, there is no chance to forgive and restore. Do not let another day go by without reaching out to those you care about no matter how long it has been. Do it today. Have no regrets.

If you have not yet made the decision to accept Jesus Christ into your heart, do it now. Do not wait another minute. Speak to Him from your heart (for it is always a heart issue). Tell Him you have fallen short in your life. Sincerely apologize for your sins. Ask Him to cleanse you and come into your heart and be Lord over your life. From this moment forward, let His Spirit guide you along the narrow road that leads to everlasting life!
“Yet who knows whether you have come to the Kingdom for such a time as this?”

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
