“And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.”
Genesis 2:2-3
God’s Commandment Number 4:
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.”
Exodus 20:8
“For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
Jesus Matthew 12:8
“And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.”
Jesus Mark 2:27
Sabbath (Shabbat) creates a space to be given new life and energy. On Sabbath work stops and we are refreshed.
Shalom is God’s perfect peace. Shalom is the absence of agitation and discord.
“Shabbat Shalom” offers a blessing of peace on a day set aside by God for rest from the business of life.
Jesus said, “Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
In Jesus we find our Sabbath rest.
Jesus said, “My peace (shalom) I leave with you; My peace (shalom) I give to you. It is not as the world gives that I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, and do not let it be afraid.”
John 14:27
Live in His Shalom.
Breathe in His Shalom.
Walk it all out in His Shalom.
His Shalom is all encompassing…it is all enveloping.
His Shalom is all.
“My Shalom I give you.
My Shalom I leave you…”
Live in the fullness and richness of His Shalom.
Let nothing disturb you.
Let nothing take His Shalom from you.
Let no man or circumstance erode His Shalom for you.
He is with you always in all ways.
Worry not.
Rest in His Shalom!
In Agreement We Pray:
Reveal Yourself, Lord, and spread over us the tabernacle of Your peace (shalom).
Let the earth shine with Your glory!
In Yeshua’s name we pray.
Amen and Amen
My Heartfelt Wish For You This Day :
Shabbat Shalom!
It Is Never Too Late!
If you have not yet made the decision to accept Jesus Christ into your heart, do it now. Do not wait another minute. Speak to Him from your heart (for it is always a heart issue). Tell Him you have fallen short in your life. Sincerely apologize for your sins. Ask Him to cleanse you and come into your heart and be Lord over your life. From this moment forward, let His Spirit guide you along the narrow road that leads to everlasting life!
“Yet who knows whether you have come to the Kingdom for such a time as this?”
Esther 4:14
Pray for America
“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
