Father God, we thank You for the gift of your precious Son, Jesus Christ. As we commemorate His birth this week and await His second coming, grant that we will emulate His love, peace and compassion to all those we encounter.
Place His compassionate heart within each and every one of our hearts as we live out each day for Your glory and to bring Your Kingdom to earth as it is in heaven.
We lift up all who have lost loved ones. We lift up all who suffer from chronic illness whether it be mental, emotional, spiritual or physical. Thank You for Your healing grace poured out on all who seek You.
Anoint each of our hearts with Your love “for such a time as this.” Let each heartbeat resonate with the love of Christ, the joy of salvation and the hope of the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
As we await His coming, cleanse our hearts of every evil work. Heal every cooked place in each of our minds and hearts. Wash us white as snow.
Prepare our hearts to receive Him fully and welcome Him as Lord of our lives. Renew a steadfast spirit in each of us. Let love overflow in each of our spirits and spread exponentially to all we encounter.
Empower us to walk in Your love and to take Your love to a dark and dying world. Great is Your faithfulness, oh God!
Father we thank You that the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Grace us to open our hearts wide to let Jesus dwell among us today and every day as we walk out our destiny for Your Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
Teach us Your ways Lord and let us be Your light and Your love in this world. Let all proclaim glory to God in the highest and peace to His people on earth.
For our Nation we pray in accordance with 2 Chronicles 7:14. Let us each come humbly before You with repentant hearts and seek Your face that You will hear from heaven and heal our land.
Let us stand strong in Your grace.
Let us lay down our weapons of division.
Let us unite to arise as Your Army to take back the territory.
Let us press forward in the name of the Lord.
We pray this in Jesus’ mighty name.
Amen and Amen!
It Is Never Too Late!
If you have not yet made the decision to accept Jesus Christ into your heart, do it now. Do not wait another minute. Speak to Him from your heart (for it is always a heart issue). Tell Him you have fallen short in your life. Sincerely apologize for your sins. Ask Him to cleanse you and come into your heart and be Lord over your life. From this moment forward, let His Spirit guide you along the narrow road that leads to everlasting life!
