How Do You Walk Through a Valley?
When you walk with the Lord, there will be mountaintop experiences that make your spirit soar. But, there will also be valley times. Valley times are often thought of in a negative way because they can be quite challenging and seem never ending. Yet, how you journey through the valley (and there will be valleys) can determine the length and struggle level of your valley season.
Valleys can bring you closer to the Lord or distance you from His grace. It is really all up to you. You see, He is there with you in your valley whether you turn to Him or not.
What I have learned, painfully at times, is that when I deepen my relationship with Him in the valley, the journey becomes just a bit easier. Sometimes though, in the valley, the tendency is to just look at the circumstance, ruminate about it, call everyone for their take on it and just plain make it more disconcerting than it really needs to be.
For you see, there is much growth in the valley if you will just be still and let God be God. He will lead, direct and guide you through the valley with His righteous right hand. You are never meant to park or set up camp in any valley period.
Rather than asking: “Why, God, is this happening to me?” Say: “Thank you, God, for walking through this with me!”
Seek the Lord for what He may be teaching you, working out of you or equipping you for in your valley. He has the plan set before you and when you stay in close contact with the Master Planner you will come forth victorious!
Let Us Pray
Father God, we know You have a plan for each of us for hope and a future. Let us hear You Spirit say, “This is the way, walk in it.” Let us not look right or left but stay focused on the path You lay before us.
Let us not get weary in well doing but rather walk ever in Your joy and peace. Whether we are on the mountaintop or walking through the valley, let us each go forward with thanksgiving in our hearts to fulfill our calling in You in Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen

It Is Never Too Late!
If you have not yet made the decision to accept Jesus Christ into your heart, do it now. Do not wait another minute. Speak to Him from your heart (for it is always a heart issue). Tell Him you have fallen short in your life. Sincerely apologize for your sins. Ask Him to cleanse you and come into your heart and be Lord over your life. From this moment forward, let His Spirit guide you along the narrow road that leads to everlasting life.
