“For Such a Time as This!”
Esther 4:14
If you think the world is against you, that is what you will see. If you think everyone is out to sabotage you, that is what you will see.
Many Christians go through life in a constant state of lack whether real or perceived. Their focus is so circumstance oriented that they miss all the beauty and blessings surrounding them. They are never content. Their discontent permeates the entire atmosphere around them.
What do you see as you look around your world? Do you stand in awe at God’s unfailing grace to keep you and provide for you? I have a very dear young friend who is in a wheelchair due to an accident. When we connect I always ask how he is doing. His response for years remains the same: “I am blessed.” WOW. I am so humbled when I speak with him. With all of his challenges, he truly considers himself blessed.
So I ask you again, what do you see as you look around your world? Check your heart. It is always a heart issue after all.
Jesus Himself came to serve and give His very life for others. If you truly follow Him, service to others is part of the package.
Life in the world is tough at times. But if you live life believing that it is one bad thing after another you are totally missing the positive. You are to be a light in a dark world, not a contributor to the darkness.
Think about it. You are blessed to be a blessing for another. Let your light shine. Let His light shine through you. Walk it out!
Here is a link to an interview with my friend, Eric. May it bless you!
For it is written:
“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Jesus
Matthew 20:28
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
Jesus
John 14:12-14
“Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.”
Proverbs 11:25-26

Remember, it is always a heart issue!
“Yet who knows whether you have come to the Kingdom for such a time as this?”
