ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY
Blessings! I pray this finds you well and prospering. There are so many throughout our Nation who are challenged by extreme weather conditions and the resultant aftermath. Please pray for all who are recovering from the ravages of hurricane Isaac, wildfires in the West and tornadoes in the Northeast. Many remain without electricity, clean water and some have lost their homes. This is a season we must to come together to help those in need to rebuild their lives.
Must We Vote to Include God?
Last week I stated that our Father’s house is under attack. This week any reference to God or acknowledgement of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was absent from the Democratic National Convention (DNC) platform. It was called ‘essentially a technical oversight’ by Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the party chairwoman. Believe me, whatever was or was not included in the platform was intentional and had to be approved before it hit the public venue. After much media criticism a vote was taken to include God and Jerusalem. The vote was called three times with much nay voting and jeering from the DNC crowd. God and Jerusalem were put back on the platform amidst an angry swell of nay voters. If you missed the news coverage check it out online and see the people upset about putting God on the agenda. Our Father’s house is under attack!
Let’s look at this situation from a Scriptural standpoint. Whenever God wanted to emphasize or confirm something in the Bible it would be presented three times. I think that as the vote reached the third call and the swell of voters became more and more incited against adding God to the platform it become most clear that the overall consensus was to keep God out of it. Psalm 33:12 says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…” God has blessed this Nation with abundance because we hold Him as Lord. The winds of change have long been blowing to take Him off our National platform. This week we clearly saw it happen.
Must We Vote to Recognize Jerusalem?
We know as Christians that God calls us to bless Israel. Genesis 12:3 establishes the first theocratic covenant with Abraham. God says, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” America has historically
stood by Israel but again the winds of change have been blowing and the failure to acknowledge Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is a bad omen.
You may ask what you can do as one individual. Seek God’s direction and follow where He leads you. If you are called to get involved in whatever capacity, do it. If you are led to be an intercessor in this season for our Nation, do it with diligence. We are each here now ‘for such a time as this.’ God has called us, appointed us and anointed us for the very unique thing He has for us to do. Whatever your assignment is, do it.
Unity in Prayer
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it…” (Psalm 127:1a) Our country was established on Christian principles and dedicated to the Lord. He built our house. We must not open the door further to demolition of all that the United States of America stands for as a beacon of freedom to the world. Jesus tells us in Matthew 12:25, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.” Now is the time for all Christians to walk away from petty divisions and to unite in prayer for this great Nation.
We in Esther’s Warriors have been praying and will continue to pray for our country and Israel. We go before our King as Queen Esther went before her king to intercede. Never underestimate the power of your prayers. Many of you over the years have told me that in times of duress you have been comforted knowing that you are being prayed for daily by warriors across this country. Many of you feel the prayer cover. One of you said last week how encouraged you are that our Nation is being covered in prayer by Esther’s Warriors 24/7. Our numbers cover all time zones and prayers are offered day and night. Never underestimate the power of your prayers. I always pray that our prayers be joined with other ministries and individuals who are praying in like accord, for there is strength in numbers.
Your Choice Affects Us All
We have seen more and more that being a Christian is not the most popular stance. Leaving God off the platform says it all. Even though He was ‘reinstated’ the fact that He was never initially included is the issue. I think Joshua 24:15 fits our season well: “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
‘Pray the States’
Join us this week as we ‘pray the states’ toward the 2012 Presidential election. We are praying for each state in the order of admission to the Union. Please cover West Virginia admitted to the Union June 20, 1863, in prayer. Pray for wisdom and discernment for the political leaders, pastors and church leaders, the people residing in West Virginia and for all in our Nation. Each state is important in forming our United States of America. We commit to pray for a different state each week so we not only provide prayer cover but also to make us aware that our country is bigger than the space we personally occupy in it. These are our United States. Let us pray that we will arise united ‘for such a time as this!’

A Prayer Request and Personal Blessing
Thank you for your continued faithfulness to pray. Please keep our servicemen and women and their families in prayer for salvation and safety. They are our frontline on the battlefield, let us be their frontline in the spirit. Also, let us cover all who have come home wounded that they and their families will receive the kindness, help and support they need to go forward in their lives. God bless all our military personnel and their families. May God richly bless the United States of America and keep her safe.
May God richly bless you and lead you in this season to fulfill His calling. May you, with His help, break off all division in your heart (and it is always a heart issue) and in your home. May we may arise united in this auspicious season in our country’s history.
