Jesus never promised us a rose garden.

He told us in this world we would have tribulation, but He has overcome the world.

He also told us, as it is written,

“Peace I leave you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

The choice is yours really.

You can live defeated with a victim mentality or fully follow Him and His ways and walk victorious  in the peace He promised.
