Daily Inspiration-God’s Amazing Healing Grace At Work Today!

I was reading an article about whether people see the glass representing their life as half full or half empty. Personally, I am happy to have the glass! It is easy to ruminate on what is missing and miss what is right before you. Some of the simplest blessings are the most overlooked and taken for granted.
Many years ago I went for an eye exam and the Doctor told me I had to see a surgeon that day or I would instantly go blind. WOW…not what I expected to hear to say the least. He was adamant. They offered to make the appointment for me and get me in that very day. Well, needless to say, I did not jump on that opportunity. In seeking other opinions, I was given the same diagnosis. I did some research on the alleged issue and was led just to trust God for healing. Let me be very clear in that I do not recommend that you ignore whatever your Doctor tells you. I am simply telling you how God worked in my life.
I never shared this with anyone. I kept it between me and God. Most often that is the very best place to keep something of great import in your life. God sees your heart (and believe me, it is always a heart issue) and the end from the beginning.
Many years passed. I continued to believe and pray for healing. Symptoms remained. Fear about going blind circled my spirit but I did not entertain the thoughts. I moved to another state and went to a new Doctor. The exam concluded with no mention of an alleged drastic pending situation. I asked the Doctor specifically if he could see what I was told before was there. He said no. WOW…exactly what I expected to hear. My eyes were healed!
As I pulled out of the parking lot a tour bus was in front of me with huge gold script lettering that read, “Amazing Grace.” Indeed! Further down the road I passed a little church with a sign that read, “Open Your Eyes to His Amazing Grace.” I was overwhelmed with gratitude for His amazing healing grace in my life!
I share this story to let you know: 1) Jesus is alive and well and healing today! 2) His unending grace is nothing short of amazing. He keeps you every second of your life. 3) He does not respect one person over another. What He has done for me He can do for you according to His perfect will and perfect timing. For me this particular journey took years but I never stopped believing without doubt.
So today, take a look at your glass. Do you see it half full or half empty? Can you see the glass with your eyes? Can you comprehend what you are reading? Start there and look around at all the abilities that are yours. Look around at all you can do rather than looking at what you may see as your limitations.
Pray believing without doubt. Be thankful in all situations. Trust in His perfect timing in your circumstance. Praise Him for Who He is for the Lord inhabits and dwells on the praises of His people. Look around and see His amazing grace in your life!
For it is written:
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.”
