Make Today
The Best Day of Your Life!
I have this plaque where I can see it every day. It brings a smile to my face and reminds me to be my very best to those I encounter. In sharing it with you I pray that you too will be fabulous in your home and to all you meet on each daily journey.
Who Do You Look Like?
In this season especially you are called to shine in an otherwise dark world. How do you shine? As a disciple of Jesus Christ your life should look more and more like His every day through your speech and actions. As you walk closer with Him you will grow more like Him. You will reflect His Kingdom rather than the ways of the world.
For example, if you are gossiping about others, that reflects the world not His Kingdom. If you repeat what someone has told you about their life you are gossiping. It is that simple. Some people live a lifestyle of continual conversation about the private information of other people. They assume that if the person told them something, it is fodder to discuss with anyone else.
No matter how insignificant something may seem to you, it may be quite significant to the person who told you. They may not want it spread. It does not take long to determine who you can trust and who you cannot. Just listen. If they talk about others to you, they talk to others about you. do not gossip or be a party to gossip.
Your actions should also reflect your commitment to Christ. Pay attention this week to how you respond to the people you encounter. Are you kind and compassionate or mean spirited? None of us are perfect but at times it is good to step back and take an inventory of how you react to people. Are you the person you want to be in your life? If not, purpose to change that to reflect the qualities you would most like to reveal to the world around you.
Where Do You Stand?
Jesus says to have salt. Salt is a condiment that adds flavor to food. If that salt loses its flavor it is not usable as a seasoning. It is flat. You are called to add to the world for Him. If you have no essence you will add little if anything in this time when you are so needed to bring His Kingdom to earth as it is in heaven.
Further, Jesus says to have peace with one another. In these times many are growing cold and following the world more and more. For disciples it is imperative to stay at peace with each other. It is in numbers and agreement that we are victorious in this time. Forgive readily and continue to move forward. Have peace. Keep peace. Offer peace. Be peace. Be Kingdom fabulous today and every day!
It Is Never Too Late!
If you have not yet made the decision to accept Jesus into your heart, do it now. Do not wait another minute. Speak to Him from your heart (for it is always a heart issue). Tell Him you have fallen short in your life. Sincerely apologize for your sins. Ask Him to cleanse you and come into your heart and be Lord over your life. From this moment forward let His Spirit guide you along the narrow road that leads to everlasting life.
Quotes to Ponder This Week

“Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.” ~Jesus, Mark 9:50

“These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift to running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.” ~Proverbs 6:16-19
“You are Lord and You are mighty and You are merciful. Raise up all who would call upon Your name. Raise up those that love You and seek You and trust You. Lord, we need an army of believers that would stand on Your Word above all else. Raise up warriors, Lord, who will fight on their knees; who will worship You with their whole hearts, Lord. Lord, call us to battle that we may proclaim the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Raise them up, Lord. Raise them up!” ~Miss Clara, War Room the Movie
Please Join Me in Prayer
Father we thank You that You have placed each of us here ‘for such a time as this!’ Equip us and grow us to reflect Your Kingdom. Grace us daily, minute by minute, to allow Your Holy Spirit to convict us from worldly thoughts, words and actions to be anointed to bring Your Kingdom to earth as it is in heaven. Quicken us and use us minute by minute to bring others to salvation in this season. We stand in agreement in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
A Prayer Request
These are treacherous times and now more than ever we must maintain our walk. Fail not in this hour. #Pray for America. #Revival. Please join us in prayer: https://drmicheleburke.org/esthers-warriors-ministry/
We thank You , Father God, that You keep Your hand on America. Forgive our sin and heal our land that we will remain One Nation Under God. May God richly bless the United States of America, bring to light every single crooked place and keep her safe. May we arise united once again as One Nation Under God in this auspicious season in our country’s history. We continue to pray for truth to prevail concerning Benghazi and all issues as we saturate this country in prayer and stand for all that is right in America and for all of us who call ourselves American. We pray this in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen and Amen.
