During the first of each year I like to seek the Lord for direction for the coming year. What follows is a word in season for all raised up ‘for such a time as this!’
Stay totally focused on Kingdom. Do not look to the left or to the right. Do not look at any situation in the natural with natural eyes. Arise! Rise above all that is worldly…eyes on Me and Me alone. Do not try to figure out what you may see with natural eyes right in front of you. I go before you. I am your rear guard. I am always with you. When focused on Me you go forward with Me. If focused on what you see you stay stuck in that vision and miss My “overcoming” vision for you.
You can become stuck in the quagmire of the world and totally miss the Kingdom overlay. While others dispute the doctrine of man, you must rise above and know the Kingdom principles of Mine. I came to bring a sword. There is much division among those who call themselves My people but “I never knew them.” You are part of a royal priesthood, a holy nation raised up ‘for such a time as this’ to bring My Kingdom to earth as it is in heaven and bring souls to salvation.
Keep My commandments…all of them. Walk in My ways for the time is short. Put on the whole armor of God daily. I hedge you in. You are Mine. Worry not.
For it is written:
“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

1 Peter 2:9
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, (emphasis added) being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—”
