Day 14 Prayer

Pray the Word

For Righteousness

Father, we stand in one accord, raised up ‘for such a time as this,’ to war for God’s Kingdom and God’s people.  We come in agreement as we approach the 2016 Presidential Election that we heed Your counsel which stands forever.  Your word says “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)   Father we thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who laid down His life for our salvation.

Father, we know You love righteousness and justice and that You fill the earth with Your unfailing love.  Make us a people and a Nation who pursue righteousness and love to findlife, prosperity and honor in You.

Let us flee from all not of You, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Let us not be deceived for we know You cannot be mocked. We will reap what we sow. Although we may be deceived to think our ways are right, You weigh the heart.  Lead us to do what is right and just in Your eyes.

Bring us back to our first love who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. Drop the scales from our eyes to see that ill-gotten treasures of the world have no lasting value, but righteousness delivers from death.  Let us be a people of peacemakers who sow in peace and reap a harvest of righteousness for those who sow righteousness reap a sure reward.

Let us confess our sins to each other in love and pray for each other so that we may be healed for the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Draw us near to You that You will come near to us. Let us wash our hands from sin, and purify our hearts, and double-minded ways. Bless us as we hunger and thirst for righteousness,
that we will be filled.

Though we may have many troubles, You deliver the righteous from them all.  Let us fully cast our cares on You, Lord, knowing that You will sustain us.  Let us delight greatly in You for You have clothed us with garments of salvation and arrayed us in robes of righteousness.

Righteousness exalts a nation but sin condemns a people.  Let us turn from our National and individual sins, humble ourselves before You that You would heal the landscape of our hearts and our land. Let us not offer any part of ourselves to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer ourselves to You as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of ourselves to You as an instrument of righteousness. Draw us to ever revere Your name that the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. “The righteous will live by faith.”

Cancel any attempts of the enemy through lies and deception. Let us not be deceived by those who continually sow discord for their own gain.  Open our eyes and remove any veil that would keep us as a Nation from seeing Your truth as we move toward this election.

Work in our individual hearts and connect us in unity that our works will be pleasing unto You ‘for such a time as this.’   Keep Your protective hand on these United States of America. Give us Godly wisdom and discernment to vote in the coming election.  We pray for the land where we are planted.  We pray for our leaders.  We thank you and pray for all around the world who stand praying with us in this season.  We pray all this in Jesus’ name.  Amen and Amen.

May we, God’s people, arise united in our Nation, in this season to the fullness of God’s call.

40 Days in the Gap

As we approach these 40 days leading up to the Presidential election it is incumbent for each and every Christian to stand in the gap for this country.  Our Nation now more than ever needs consistent, diligent and strategic prayer cover.

Pray for wisdom and discernment for the political leaders, pastors and church leaders, and for all Constitutionally qualified in our Nation to register and vote with Godly direction.

A Little History

Since the inception of Esther’s Warriors Ministry in early 2008, we have strategically prayed for the healing and safety of United States of America.  Just as Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people, we go before the King to intercede for our Nation ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14).

God promises us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Holding our country in prayer keeps our hearts focused on seeking God for our safety and future. 

Discern the Times

This election is unlike any that has come before in history.  Freedom itself is at stake.   We stand on the precipice today as we approach the election with the opportunity to vote for the change that could bring back the America of the Constitution of our forefathers.

This is not Democratic or Republican. This is about the United States of America. There are many who are set on ‘changing’ who we are as a Nation and have been systematically removing the rights of Christians.  Islamic extremists are a growing threat to our safety and way of life within our very borders.  Remember 9/11, Ft. Hood, San Bernardino, Orlando, Boston, NYC, NJ, and the rise of mall shootings with ties to Islamic extremism. Remember Benghazi.

May we turn back to God as a Nation and once again stand united.  United we will stand together in this season. These are still our United States.  Let us join together that we will arise united ‘for such a time as this!’
