Day 12 Prayer
Pray the Word
Praise and Worship
Father, we stand in one accord, raised up ‘for such a time as this,’ to war for God’s Kingdom and God’s people. We come in agreement as we approach the 2016 Presidential Election that we heed Your counsel which stands forever. Your word says “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13) Father we thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who laid down His life for our salvation.
Father, we come before You in spirit and in truth to honor You for who You are; for Your counsel of faithfulness and truth; for Your ever enduring mercy. Blessed are You, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
You are our strength and our shield, our hearts trust in You. Grow us to trust in You despite what we see around us. Teach us to trust You not our own abilities and plans. Not to us, Lord, but to Your name be the glory because of Your love and faithfulness.
Let our hearts leap for joy. Let us accept one another just as Christ accepted us, in order to bring praise to You, and with our song worship You. You are our rock and our fortress, for the sake of Your name, lead and guide us. Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is Yours. Yours, Lord, is the Kingdom; You are exalted as head over all. There is no one holy like You; there is no one besides You; there is no Rock like our God and with our song we worship You.
With every breath let us worship You. With our very life let us live a life of worship to be the city on the hill in this season. Out of our mouth can come praise and cursing. Convict us ever to speak with tongues bridled to Your ways. Let us no longer use worship as an emotional high only to then go forth with guile in our mouths. We humbly repent of using worship for our own enjoyment when true worship honors You and You alone in spirit and truth.
Draw us back to our first love. There is none like You, for of You and through You and to You are all things; to You be the glory for ever. Despite whatever we see around us in our personal situation or the Nation or the world, yet we will rejoice in You, the God of our salvation. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let Your glory be over all the earth.
We will exalt You, our God the King; we will praise Your name for ever and ever. Help us, God our Savior, for the glory of Your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for Your name’s sake.
Let us bow down in worship. Let us kneel before You our Maker. We stretch forth our hands to You: our soul thirsts for You, as a thirsty land. We will worship You, Lord, among the nations; we will sing of You among the people. To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever.
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
Cancel any attempts of the enemy through lies and deception. Let us not be deceived by those who continually sow discord for their own gain. Open our eyes and remove any veil that would keep us as a Nation from seeing Your truth as we move toward this election.
Work in our individual hearts and connect us in unity that our works will be pleasing unto You ‘for such a time as this.’ Keep Your protective hand on these United States of America. Give us Godly wisdom and discernment to vote in the coming election. We pray for the land where we are planted. We pray for our leaders. We thank you and pray for all around the world who stand praying with us in this season. We pray all this in Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen.
May we, God’s people, arise united in our Nation, in this season to the fullness of God’s call.
Keep the Word
“I sought for a man to stand in the gap.” Ezekiel 22:30
40 Days in the Gap
As we approach these 40 days leading up to the Presidential election it is incumbent for each and every Christian to stand in the gap for this country. Our Nation now more than ever needs consistent, diligent and strategic prayer cover.
Pray for wisdom and discernment for the political leaders, pastors and church leaders, and for all Constitutionally qualified in our Nation to register and vote with Godly direction.
A Little History
Since the inception of Esther’s Warriors Ministry in early 2008, we have strategically prayed for the healing and safety of United States of America. Just as Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people, we go before the King to intercede for our Nation ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14).
God promises us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Holding our country in prayer keeps our hearts focused on seeking God for our safety and future.
Discern the Times
This election is unlike any that has come before in history. Freedom itself is at stake. We stand on the precipice today as we approach the election with the opportunity to vote for the change that could bring back the America of the Constitution of our forefathers.
This is not Democratic or Republican. This is about the United States of America. There are many who are set on ‘changing’ who we are as a Nation and have been systematically removing the rights of Christians. Islamic extremists are a growing threat to our safety and way of life within our very borders. Remember 9/11, Ft. Hood, San Bernardino, Orlando, Boston, NYC, NJ, and the rise of mall shootings with ties to Islamic extremism. Remember Benghazi.
May we turn back to God as a Nation and once again stand united. United we will stand together in this season. These are still our United States. Let us join together that we will arise united ‘for such a time as this!’
