Day 11 Prayer

Pray the Word

For Wisdom

Father, we stand in one accord, raised up ‘for such a time as this,’ to war for God’s Kingdom and God’s people.  We come in agreement as we approach the 2016 Presidential Election that we heed Your counsel which stands forever.  Your word says “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)   Father we thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who laid down His life for our salvation.

Father, we humbly ask You for wisdom as Your word tells us that, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” We ask for wisdom in our personal lives, as we prepare to vote and for this Nation.  We know that all comes from You, whose plan is wonderful, whose wisdom is magnificent.  Give us the ability to discern what is true, right, and lasting in Your eyes rather than to rely on what we see and hear around us in the world.

Let us be not wise in our own eyes.   Give us the fear the Lord that we would depart from evil. Let us not be void of wisdom, despising our neighbor,  but make us a people of understanding holding our peace. How much better is it to get wisdom than gold!  Let us not be as fools despising Your wisdom and instruction.

Though it cost all we have, let us get wisdom and understanding. Let our words be gracious, not speaking as fools consumed by their own lips for with their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors.  Where there is strife, there is pride. Convict us then to walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, making the most of every opportunity and redeeming the time, because the days are evil. For Your wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Let us be wise in the way we act toward outsiders; making the most of every opportunity. Let our conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that we may know how to answer everyone. Let us have wisdom and cherish understanding that we will soon prosper. Let us forsake her not, that she shall preserve us. Let us love her that she shall keep us. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore let us get wisdom.

Let us show Your wisdom by our good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. Let us get wisdom and therefore love life.  Let us not deceive ourselves. If any of us think we are wise by the standards of this age, we should become “fools” so that we may become wise.  Bridle us to guard our lips and preserve our lives.

Let us be wise in heart and accept Your commands, that we will not be as chattering fools coming to ruin.  Let us not speak rashly and come to ruin for when pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom .

Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions. Therefore, let each of us who hear Your words, put them into practice.  Let us be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Cancel any attempts of the enemy through lies and deception. Let us not be deceived by those who continually sow discord for their own gain.  Open our eyes and remove any veil that would keep us as a Nation from seeing Your truth as we move toward this election.

Work in our individual hearts and connect us in unity that our works will be pleasing unto You ‘for such a time as this.’   Keep Your protective hand on these United States of America. Give us Godly wisdom and discernment to vote in the coming election.  We pray for the land where we are planted.  We pray for our leaders.  We thank you and pray for all around the world who stand praying with us in this season.  We pray all this in Jesus’ name.  Amen and Amen.

May we, God’s people, arise united in our Nation, in this season to the fullness of God’s call.

40 Days in the Gap

As we approach these 40 days leading up to the Presidential election it is incumbent for each and every Christian to stand in the gap for this country.  Our Nation now more than ever needs consistent, diligent and strategic prayer cover.

Pray for wisdom and discernment for the political leaders, pastors and church leaders, and for all Constitutionally qualified in our Nation to register and vote with Godly direction.

A Little History

Since the inception of Esther’s Warriors Ministry in early 2008, we have strategically prayed for the healing and safety of United States of America.  Just as Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people, we go before the King to intercede for our Nation ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14).

God promises us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Holding our country in prayer keeps our hearts focused on seeking God for our safety and future. 

Discern the Times

This election is unlike any that has come before in history.  Freedom itself is at stake.   We stand on the precipice today as we approach the election with the opportunity to vote for the change that could bring back the America of the Constitution of our forefathers.

This is not Democratic or Republican. This is about the United States of America. There are many who are set on ‘changing’ who we are as a Nation and have been systematically removing the rights of Christians.  Islamic extremists are a growing threat to our safety and way of life within our very borders.  Remember 9/11, Ft. Hood, San Bernardino, Orlando, Boston, NYC, NJ, and the rise of mall shootings with ties to Islamic extremism. Remember Benghazi.

May we turn back to God as a Nation and once again stand united.  United we will stand together in this season. These are still our United States.  Let us join together that we will arise united ‘for such a time as this!’
