Day 34 Prayer

Pray the Word

For the Body of Christ

Father, we stand in one accord, raised up ‘for such a time as this,’ to war for God’s Kingdom and God’s people.  We come in agreement as we approach the 2016 Presidential Election that we heed Your counsel which stands forever.  Your word says “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)   Father we thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who laid down His life for our salvation.

Father we come before You today in agreement that each member of the Body of Christ will wake up to their true call in You.  Lord, we repent for dividing by denomination what You united by Your blood.  We repent for dividing by color and race what You united by Your  blood. 

Give us Your heart Lord for our brothers and sisters in Christ.  Let each of our hearts be washed afresh by Your Holy Spirit.  Let each of us lay down our weapons of gossip, bitterness, resentment and every evil work used against each other.

We have allowed the ways of the world into our churches, Lord, and for this we repent.  Bring us back to our first love.  Convict us to lay down our worldly ways and step onto the narrow road to bring Your Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

Wake each of us up to our true calling.  Thank You that we each are fearfully and wonderfully made, chosen, a royal priesthood, a holy nation unto You.  Let us walk worthy of our calling.  Turn our hearts fully back to you.  Order our steps.  Let the profession of our faith be manifest in the depths of our hearts and in our thoughts, words and deeds.  Let us be the city on the hill.  Let those with an ear hear what Your Spirit says in this season.

Work in our individual hearts and connect us in unity that our works will be pleasing unto You ‘for such a time as this.’   Keep Your protective hand on these United States of America. Give us Godly wisdom and discernment to vote in the coming election.  We pray all this in Jesus’ name.  Amen and Amen

40 Days in the Gap

As we approach these 40 days leading up to the Presidential election it is incumbent for each and every Christian to stand in the gap for this country.  Our Nation now more than ever needs consistent, diligent and strategic prayer cover.

Pray for wisdom and discernment for the political leaders, pastors and church leaders, and for all Constitutionally qualified in our Nation to register and vote with Godly direction.

A Little History

Since the inception of Esther’s Warriors Ministry in early 2008, we have strategically prayed for the healing and safety of United States of America.  Just as Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people, we go before the King to intercede for our Nation ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14).

God promises us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Holding our country in prayer keeps our hearts focused on seeking God for our safety and future. 

Discern the Times

This election is unlike any that has come before in history.  Freedom itself is at stake.   We stand on the precipice today as we approach the election with the opportunity to vote for the change that could bring back the America of the Constitution of our forefathers.

This is not Democratic or Republican. This is about the United States of America. There are many who are set on ‘changing’ who we are as a Nation and have been systematically removing the rights of Christians.  Islamic extremists are a growing threat to our safety and way of life within our very borders.  Remember 9/11, Ft. Hood, San Bernardino, Orlando, Boston, NYC, NJ, and the rise of mall shootings with ties to Islamic extremism.

May we turn back to God as a Nation and once again stand united.  United we will stand together in this season. These are still our United States.  Let us join together that we will arise united ‘for such a time as this!’
