What Time Is It?

Time

Do You Operate on Your Time

Or In God’s Timing?

Many of us are waiting for things to change in our lives.  Some of these things are seemingly minor and some are huge.  We wait at times rather impatiently wondering if God knows what challenges us.  Is He watching?  Why doesn’t He just rescue us from the situation?  After all, He is God and He can change any situation in the blink of an eye.

Never Quit

We have heard of “suddenly” healings and “suddenly” releases of circumstances that are unchangeable in the natural.  This week I listened to a mom’s story of her son’s severe medical condition.  She said, “It is incurable.”  She is a believer yet had not known that Jesus heals today as He did yesterday and will tomorrow.  I am believing for her son’s healing and so many others because I know without a doubt that healing is our inheritance in the Lord.  I also know without a doubt because He has healed me on numerous occasions from near death “incurable” (in man’s eyes) diseases.  Was it easy? It was not at all.  I had to stand a long time on His Word and allow my faith to be built up and strengthened.  Always know He is faithful if we do not give up.  Often we have to fight to receive and maintain our victory.

The Timing is His

What we must never lose sight of is that all works of the Lord are in His timing.  Some changes are gradual and some are “suddenly.”  In His infinite wisdom all works together in His perfect timing.  Often things appear most dire just before the shift.  Since I was a little girl I knew that if Jesus could raise Lazarus from the dead He could heal any infirmity known to man.  And remember, if God raised up His own Son from the dead He can raise up any apparent unresponsive situation or infirmity.  Although we may think He is non-responsive to our circumstance He is never late.

Wait for His Direction and Timing

Often we must take steps in the natural to walk toward the release God has for us.  If we are doing things contrary to our covenant relationship with the Lord we can impede our progress.  Too many times personal responsibility is cast aside and blame is placed on God.  He is faithful to perform His Word.  We must be faithful to live His way and listen to His voice rather than the voice of the world.  In these times and for His chosen only His wisdom will prevail.  Pray about everything you do and wait until you are led by the Lord to make any moves you are considering.  Today more than ever before we as believers must follow the path He places before us.  We cannot afford the luxury of forging ahead without Him.

Quotes to Ponder This Week

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”  Proverbs 3:5-6

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”  Hebrews 13:8

“…For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”  Jesus (Matthew 7:8)  Note that for doors to be opened requires action on the seeker’s part: ask, seek and knock.

A Prayer Request

Thank you for your continued faithfulness to pray.  Please keep all who serve our country, our servicemen and women and their families in prayer for salvation and safety.  They are our frontline on the battlefield, let us be their frontline in the spirit.  Also, let us cover all who have come home wounded that they and their families will receive the kindness, help and support they need to go forward in their lives.  God bless all our diplomatic and military personnel and their families.  Please pray for all in authority over us, for the full truth to come forth concerning Benghazi and for safety in Israel.  Pray for those affected by severe weather outbreaks in our country this week.  Pray for all throughout the world for hedges of protection against radical Muslim extremists and all forms of terrorism.   May God richly bless the United States of America, bring to light every single crooked place and keep her safe.  May we may arise united in this auspicious season in our country’s history.
