United We Stand in Freedom

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

The fall season is officially upon us this week. Temperatures shift.  Harvest preparations begin.  On Tuesday at sundown our Jewish brothers and sisters begin the feast of Yom Kippur.  The Day of Atonement as presented in Leviticus 16:29-32, is a call to fast and pray for forgiveness.

This is a most solemn time yet a joyful time as there is a confidence that God will hear and position us for the next year.  It is a sacred time of at-one-ment with the Lord.  It is a humbling time that calls us to review the past year yet look ahead with hope to the year ahead.  It is a time of positioning, restoration and deliverance.  We know that Jesus died as the perfect atonement for our sins.

As our Jewish brothers and sisters look inward this week let us also commit to a review of our past year.  To look forward with clean hearts (it is always a heart issue) is to go forward free.

Are You Free Indeed?

So many Christians today are living beneath what Jesus died to give them.  They remain bound by legalistic concepts and an unrecognized fear that the enemy is behind everything.  Without knowledge and Godly discernment, they live on high alert for anything and everything that could have demonic connections.  Way too much credit is given to him and not to the Lord.

Make no mistake; the enemy does roam the earth looking for whom he can devour.  We do have worldly enemies to be sure.  However, everything you encounter is not demonic.  We are in a very precarious season in this country and we need to grow up and stand up for the future of our Nation.  Our God reigns!  Period.  We need to get that deep in our spirit and walk out our life with that concept above all else.

Honestly check yourself.  If you continue to have conflict in your life, are plagued by fear and cannot seem to get or stay focused on what God would have you do, ask the Holy Spirit to touch your heart.  Ask for clarity and vision.  He will not disappoint you.  However, He may very well take you out of your comfort zone.  Remember, fear does not come from God but God can set you free from fear.  Ask and you shall receive.

The Truth Shall Set Us Free!

This past week saw an escalation of the anti-American sentiment across the Middle East.  It all began with the murder of our Ambassador and three others in Libya on the anniversary of 9/11.  The timing of this attack was no accident.  Ten days after the fact the Administration is now admitting it was a terrorist attack as anti-American sentiment continues to rise.  We have very real enemies who shout, “Death to America!”

We are getting closer the Presidential election in November.  We hear campaign rhetoric that is divisional and promoting class warfare.  These are not the values that built our Nation.  And yes, we built it!  We built this country through generations of hard working men and women who believed in “one Nation under God.”

We Are Established as the “United” States of America

In Matthew 12:25, Jesus told the Pharisees:  “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.”  This week look seriously at your own heart first.  If there is division seek restoration.  This week pray without ceasing that we in this country will arise united for “united we stand, divided we fall.”

‘Pray the States’

Join us this week as we ‘pray the states’ toward the 2012 Presidential election.  We are praying for each state in the order of admission to the Union.  Please cover Nebraska admitted to the Union March 1, 1867, in prayer.  Pray for wisdom and discernment for the political leaders, pastors and church leaders, the people residing in Nebraska and for all in our Nation.  Each state is important in forming our United States of America.  We commit to pray for a different state each week so we not only provide prayer cover but also to make us aware that our country is bigger than the space we personally occupy in it. These are our United States.  Let us pray that we will arise united ‘for such a time as this!’
Please repost and share.

“Then join hand in hand, brave Americans all, by uniting we stand by dividing we fall; in so righteous a cause let us hope to succeed, for heaven approves of each generous deed.  John Dickinson, The Liberty Song, 1768

A Prayer Request and Personal Blessing

Thank you for your continued faithfulness to pray.  Please keep our servicemen and women and their families in prayer for salvation and safety.  They are our frontline on the battlefield, let us be their frontline in the spirit.  Also, let us cover all who have come home wounded that they and their families will receive the kindness, help and support they need to go forward in their lives.  God bless all our military personnel and their families.   May God richly bless the United States of America and keep her safe.

Please hold in prayer the families of the embassy staff and everyone who has risked all to serve our country.

May God richly bless you and bring unity to your heart and our Nation.    May we may arise united in this auspicious season in our country’s history.
