The First 100 Days-President Donald J. Trump

God Bless America

The First 100 Days

We are now in the first 100 days of President Donald Trump’s presidency. The first 100 days of any administration are crucial.  This administration faces divisive challenges from day one.  Now is the time to step up to pray consistently for President Trump, his family, his cabinet and this country.  Commit to pray every day but especially during these first 100 days.

Whether you voted for him or not; whether you like him or not, he is in fact the President of the United States of America.  If you live in America, he is your President.  If you cannot support him as such then perhaps this is not your country.  You do not have to like him but as an American you should not contribute to anarchy.  This is still a democracy and, although I certainly support your right to peaceful protest, to shout obscenities, smash windows, injure police and denigrate anyone who does not hold your opinions is immature at the very least.  Why not wait and see what he does first?

A Few Observations

There were countless over the last eight years who lived fearful of where our country was headed.  We did none of the above. We waited, we prayed and we voted. You will have that same opportunity to vote for your candidate of choice in a few years.  For now, support the man sitting in the White House.  Like it or not, he is your President.

If you truly love this country please put down your signs and come together to unite her once more.  This is our America, yours and mine.  Love of country should be first.  I have heard much over the last few days that contradicts the patriotic spirit that made this nation great…a nation many fought, bled and died to keep free. Our freedom comes with great cost.  We have remained free to vote and transfer power through the election process.  If the Obamas can graciously pass the torch to the Trumps through our democratic process, then certainly we as American citizens should be able to follow their lead.

And finally, I have heard people new to this country join in the vitriol against President Trump and refer to themselves according to the heritage of their country of origin.  Again, if you feel that strongly against our democratic election process and the results, you are free to return from whence you came.  We welcome you but if you choose to make America your home and your country then step up to be part of the solution not part of the problem.  With the exception of the Indigenous people, we are all immigrants in this land.  The majority of us are proud to be American first.  We are proud to be American even though we do not always like who sits in the White House.   Join us and be a patriotic American!

Esther’s Warriors Ministry Mandate

‘For Such A Time As This!’

Esther’s Warriors Ministry was established prior to the 2008 election.  We have faithfully prayed for this Nation, our military and first responders, the youth, the Body of Christ, victory over radical Islam, and for wisdom and discernment for each of us. We came together to pray 40 Days in the Gap prior to the election.   In this season, we will continue our mandate and, as Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people, we continue to go before The King to intercede now for President Trump and this Nation.

A Word in Season

For all intercessors, the time is clearly now.  To inaugurate is to begin anew…to start fresh.  There is a new administration in the heavenlies positioned over the United States of America ‘for such a time as this!’  For all intercessors, this is the time to advance in prayer…not to go on R&R (a military term meaning rest and relaxation) or retreat.  Advance for the Kingdom of God is at hand!

Please Join Us In Prayer

Father, we come before You today to thank You for those You have placed in authority over us for this season.  In accordance with Your Word, we stand praying before Your throne for President Trump, his family and all who will serve in this administration.  We bind any spirit of fear and division that has been allowed to permeate this land.  We loose a spirit of cooperation and unity and a love that surpasses all understanding to saturate this great country You have given to us. May You once again reign over and heal this land that we will be a beacon of light to each other and to the world.  Equip us to come together despite our differences.  Infuse us all with Your Holy Spirit to put away all malice, bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking.  We pray all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ.  Amen and Amen

Excerpts from President Trump’s

Inaugural Address

Take a moment to at least read these excerpts from President Trump’s Inaugural Address.  He speaks to all Americans.  As Americans, let us at the very least give him a chance to lead our Nation.

“Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition. They have been magnificent. Thank you…Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning because today, we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the people…It’s time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget, that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots…So to all Americans in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, from ocean to ocean, hear these words. You will never be ignored again.” President Donald Trump, Excerpts from Inaugural Address, January 20, 2017

“When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice,” President Trump
