Daily Inspiration-Who Are You?

Once you know who you are in Christ, no one can manipulate you!

If you do not know, purpose today to diligently seek Him.  He stands at the door of your heart (for it is always a heart issue) and knocks.  Listen for His still small voice.  Open the door and let Him into your life.  If you choose to do this and truly follow Him, your life will never be the same.

So many choose not to follow Jesus as they fear their

Daily Inspiration-Do Not Offend-Mend!

Do Not Offend-Mend!

There is so much offense and division today on every level.  Division is a burgeoning split that threatens our homes, our relationships, our communities, our country and the world.  Most importantly, a divisive spirit can reside in your heart, for in the end, it is always a heart issue.

As followers of Jesus Christ we are called to “love one another.”  This may sound easy enough at face value.  But sadly, if you follow the news today it is hard to see this being played out.  Do not let what is going on around you be discouraging.

Daily Inspiration-A Hardened Heart Makes Life Harder!

Are you the same as you were last year?  Life should change you. Learning from life experiences should grow you in a positive way. If you remain the same year after year or let life experiences damage who you are, you miss out on the kaleidoscope of possibility that life has to offer.

Jesus died to set you free.  If you are bound by your past, your present, your heart (remember, it is always a heart issue), look to Him as the Author and Finisher of your faith.

So many people have walled off parts of their heart as they

Daily Inspiration-Matters of the Heart

When someone shares their deepest thoughts and struggles with you, they have given you access to their heart (and it is always a heart issue!).  Matters of the heart open sacred space.  Step lightly.  Proceed with the utmost care.  For, you have been entrusted with the most delicate issues.

Do not judge.  Do not condemn. Never share with others.   Just listen with your heart wide open.  Listen with the compassion of Christ.   Use wisdom, discernment and encouragement.  Pray for one another.

Each of us is wounded.  Some process differently than others.  Some do not process at all but rather build

Daily Inspiration-Where Does Your Strength Lie?

After a long conversation about God, the world, salvation and heaven, someone said to me, “You are a very strong woman!” Through faith in Jesus Christ I do have the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.  (Hebrews 11:1)   In the natural I have many frailties to be sure but through Christ I do have strength.

That very same strength is available to you if you choose to fully follow Him.  Let Him be your strength in every circumstance.

For it is written:

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in

Daily Inspiration-He Knows It All!

We are each fearfully and wonderfully made with a unique God given destiny.  Do not judge another because their journey does not look like yours.  It is not supposed to be the same.

Concentrate on what God has for you.  Keep your heart clear (for it is always a heart issue).  Let Him work through you in His own way and in His own timing.  He knows you better than you think you know yourself.  Therefore, His plan far exceeds all you could think or imagine!

For it is written:

“O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You

Daily Inspiration-Forgive How Many Times?!

Have you ever had someone who knows you well continue to ask you things to which they already know the answer?  Or, they may continue to try to involve you in things you have absolutely no interest in doing.  Not bad things, just events where you choose not to spend your time.  These are just a few examples.  The list is lengthy and can escalate.

It is toxic behavior.  It is disrespectful of you.  It is rude at the very basic level.  Yet, those who operate this way rationalize it as “meaning well” and a myriad of other justifications. Sometimes

Daily Inspiration-Choose Wisely Before You Engage!

Do not step into battles you are not meant to fight.  For in so doing you can be taken out if wounded in those superfluous battles.  Choose wisely before you engage.  There are some battles you are called to but certainly not every single skirmish that presents itself.

Walk away from all disruptive spirits and situations to which you are not called.  For with each such encounter you lose a piece of yourself.  Your joy and peace are chipped away.  Your heart corrodes (for it is always a heart issue) while doing little to theirs for that is where they

Daily Inspiration-Set It Up!

Do you continually set up and stir up circumstances that keep you in a swirl of drama? Know that the constant stress for you and those around you is unhealthy on every level.

Step back.  Think first. Then step up.

For it is written:

“A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.  The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.”

Proverbs 15:1
