We stand at the threshold of the New Year.  If events of the passing year have knocked you down and left you seated determine to stand.   Now is the time to let go of the pain and disappointment of 2012.  Prepare to go forward into a season bright with possibility and hope for the future.  Although the landscape of your life may have changed in ways you would not have chosen know that God is with you and He has His hand on your life.

Happy New Year!  I pray this finds you filled with anticipation of what the Lord has in store for you in 2012.  With 2011 now behind us, remember what Jesus said in Luke 9:59, 62, “Follow Me…No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”  He was discussing the true cost of discipleship, part of which requires us to follow Him forward and not look back to things that would hinder our Kingdom work on this earth for Him.  On this first day of the year it is good to … Read the rest
