President’s Day in the United States of America

President's Day USA 1

Take Time to Learn What
Our President’s Stood for and Believed

Today in the United States of America we celebrate President’s Day in honor of those who throughout history have held our highest National office. These men served at great personal sacrifice to lead the greatest country through times of peace and times of war. History shows us that these men placed God and country first as they led us again and again to victory over enemies of the time. They expressed pride in America and sought the best for her and all who called themselves American. The Office of the President should carry a certain dignity and decorum. As the leader of the United States, the President should unite the country. He is charged to uphold the Constitution.

Not All Change Is Good

Today we live in a much different and ever escalating climate. We currently have a President who has divided us as a Nation on racial, religious, political and other issues. He stands clearly with the Islamic community at the expense and degradation of the Christians in this country. Our President does not call radical Islamic actions terrorism but softens such egregious attacks on our soil as workplace violence. Two such examples are the shootings at Fort Hood, TX and San Bernardino, CA.

We are told repeatedly that the news media is blowing the terrorist issue way out of proportion. The radicalization of Muslim youth is a growing concern across our country. Demonstrations on college campuses with shouts of ‘Allah Akbar’ (Allah is Greater) can be readily viewed on the internet. ISIS is well within our borders.

This week alone a radicalized machete wielding Mohammed Barry attacked four people in a Columbus, Ohio restaurant and deli owned by an Israeli. Although in the FBI database due to his radical views, he was not being monitored at the time of the attack. Another radicalized man, Khali Abu-Rayyan, planned to shoot up a mega church in Michigan. You can read the full article about this here : http://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/local/wayne-county/2016/02/05/feds-dearborn-hts-man-supports-isis-planned-attack/79906302/

We are at war with radical Islam. You cannot win a war without naming and knowing the enemy. It is radical Islam and it is here.

What Are Your Children Learning?

The soft Islamization of America is hardly subtle as school children across this country are learning the pillars of Islam yet cannot bring a Bible to school or pray. In a slightly new twist this week in Rochester, NY, girls were given hijabs and boys carnations in solidarity with Muslims on World Hijab Day before classes started. http://www.clarionproject.org/analysis/world-hijab-day-debuts-american-schools

I can only imagine the outcry had the boys been given Pastor collars and the girls nun habits. The indoctrination of youth is reminiscent of Adolph Hitler in his process of ultimate takeover.

America-Love it or Leave it

Years ago there were some who did not like America and the popular slogan at the time was, “America, love it or leave it.” Now more than ever, for those who do not like the principles we were founded on and who we are as a democratic Nation, feel free to return to your native land. We are not here to provide free medical care, food stamps, housing and a free education to people not willing to accept our laws and our way of life. We were never to be a socialist experiment. We were established as a free Republic. Remember that on this President’s Day.

Arise For ‘Such A Time As This!’

Take these months leading to the next Presidential election to contact your government representatives and let them know what you expect of them. They are elected to serve you. We are not here to serve the government. Our rights are being trampled at an alarming rate. This country voted for change in the last mid-term elections. It is incumbent on each of us to press for that change by persistently contacting our representatives.

If you are a Pastor or Christian leader, talk to your people and encourage them to get active. Encourage them to register and show up at the polls in this election. Our failure as the body of Christ to vote in the last election is precisely why our country is in the shape it is in today.

It is incumbent on each and every leader to embolden his or her people to vote the Bible. Many are afraid of losing their 501(c) (3) tax exempt status. Here is a link to share that clearly states the main thing you cannot do is endorse a particular candidate or party. https://www.irs.gov/Charities-&-Non-Profits/Charitable-Organizations/The-Restriction-of-Political-Campaign-Intervention-by-Section-501(c)(3)-Tax-Exempt-Organizations

You can and should promote participation in the election process. Only God can turn this around but His people must play a part in the process. Whether a leader or a disciple of Jesus Christ, encourage all you know to vote. If you attend a church, ask your pastor to encourage the congregation to go to the polls. We have a platform. Let’s use it. Your vote counts only if it is cast!

A Final Note

Read the quotes from our former Presidents and get a feel for our heritage. We are in fact a Nation built on Christian principles! I have included only one quote from our current President but it is one he has reiterated many times over his tenure. Note the difference. May God bless you and may God bless America.

“We took the liberty to make some inquiries concerning the Grounds of their pretensions to make war upon a Nation who had done them no Injury, and observed that we considered all mankind as our Friends who had done us no wrong, nor had given us any provocation. The ambassador [Tripoli’s Ambassador to Great Britain] answered us that it was founded on the laws of their prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every musselman (Muslim) who should be slain in battle was sure to go to paradise” ~President Thomas Jefferson, Concerning Muslim terror raids and piracy against American ships. When Jefferson became President he responded to radical Islamic threats by confronting them and defeating them. This marked our first war on foreign soil from which a line in the Marine Corps hymn, “to the shores of Tripoli,” serves as a historical remembrance of that victory.
“God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their basis?” ~President Thomas Jefferson

“The Bible is the one supreme source of revelation of the meaning of life, the nature of God, and spiritual nature and needs of men…America was born a Christian nation. America was born to exemplify the devotion to the elements of righteousness which are derived from the revelations of Holy Scripture.” ~President Woodrow Wilson

“The foundations of our society and our government rest so much on the teachings of the Bible that it would be difficult to support them if faith in these teachings would cease to be practically universal in our country.” ~President Calvin Coolidge

“We cannot read the history of our rise and development as a nation without reckoning with the place the Bible has occupied in shaping the advances of the Republic. Where we have been the truest and most consistent in obeying its precepts, we have attained the greatest measure of contentment and prosperity.” ~President Franklin D. Roosevelt

“The fundamental basis of this nation’s law was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul…If we don’t have a proper fundamental background, we will finally end up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the State!” ~President Harry S. Truman

“In this way we are reaffirming the transcendence of religious faith in America’s heritage and future; in this way we shall constantly strengthen those spiritual weapons which forever will be our country’s most powerful resource in peace and war.” ~President Dwight D. Eisenhower when adding “one Nation under God” to our Pledge of Allegiance

“Without God there could be no American form of government, nor an American way of life. Recognition of the Supreme Being is the first-the most basic-expression of Americanism. Thus, the Founding Fathers of America saw it, and thus with God’s help, it will continue to be.” ~President Dwight D. Eisenhower

“Let us…lead this land that we love, joining in the prayer of General George Washington in 1783, “that God would have you in His holy protection…to demean ourselves with…the characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed religion, without an humble imitation of whose example we can never hope to be a happy nation.” ~President John F. “America will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of our country.” ~President George W. Bush, September 11, 2001, Announcing a Global War on Terrorism

Preceding Presidential Quotes taken from In God We Still Trust, A 365-Day Devotional edited by Dr. Richard G. Lee

“Although as I mentioned, we have a very large Christian population, we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values. I think modern Turkey was founded with a similar set of principles.” ~President Barack Hussein Obama, April 6, 2009 , Press Conference with the President of Turkey

“You are Lord and You are mighty and You are merciful.  Raise up all who would call upon Your name.  Raise up those that love You and seek You and trust You.  Lord, we need an army of believers that would stand on Your Word above all else.  Raise up warriors, Lord, who will fight on their knees; who will worship You with their whole hearts, Lord.  Lord, call us to battle that we may proclaim the King of kings and the Lord of lords.  Raise them up, Lord.  Raise them up!”  ~Miss Clara, War Room the Movie

A Prayer Request

Thank you for your continued faithfulness to pray. Please keep all who serve our country, our servicemen and women and their families in prayer for salvation and safety. They are our front-line on the battlefield, let us be their front-line in the spirit. Also, let us cover all who have come home wounded that they and their families will receive the kindness, help and support they need to go forward in their lives.

God bless all our diplomatic and military personnel and their families. May the Lord keep them safe. Pray for all throughout the world for hedges of protection against radical Muslim extremists and all forms of terrorism. We have long prayed for spiritual victory over radical Islam in Esther’s Warriors Ministry. We now see the reality of this threat come to the forefront in this time in world history.

Please pray for all in authority over us, for the full truth to come forth concerning Benghazi and for safety in Israel. May God richly bless the United States of America, bring to light every single crooked place and keep her safe.

May we may arise united once again as One Nation Under God in this auspicious season in our country’s history. These are treacherous times and now more than ever we must maintain our walk with the Lord, saturate this country in prayer and stand for all that is right in America. Fail not in this hour.
