Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord…Psalm 33:12

Donald J. Trump has won the Presidential Election.  Whether he was your chosen candidate or not, let us come together now to bring this country to unity.  We are all Americans.  If you do not consider yourself an American  please search your heart.  This is what has made us a great nation historically.  We came from across the globe to live free but we came together, we fought in wars together, we shed our blood together for this Nation.

Please Pray With Me

Today and Everyday Going Forth

Please pray that the Lord would keep His hand on Mr. Trump; keep him and his family and staff safe; that He would lead, direct and guide him ‘for such a time as this!’  Pray for President Obama as he leads us through the transition to the next Administration.  Pray for the heart of every citizen to be softened to come together in unity for America in Jesus’ name.  Amen and Amen.

For all across the globe who have faithfully prayed for us and with us, thank you.  Please continue to hold us in your hearts and prayers.

Americans First and Foremost

For those who may be new to our country, countless men and women have shed their blood and countless more have given their lives to make and keep us a free country.  I have the privilege of being born here and raised in a military family.  My dad was an Officer and a gentleman who put God, country and family first above all.  I have many friends who served in various wars and bear emotional and physical scars yet they would gladly stand to defend the United States of America.  Our love of God and love of country goes deep.

It saddens me to read what people are writing on social media today about this country and the election results.  America was never perfect.  No place on earth is that.  However, we are free here.  Freedom is a quickly waning commodity in the world.   If you truly think it is better elsewhere, please leave.  Now more than ever we need Americans who will come together to end the division that we have allowed to flourish here.

We are not black or white, Hispanic or white, Democrat or Republican or part of any other group that would divide us.  We are Americans first and foremost.  Let’s lay aside the divisive rhetoric we have heard over the last eight years and come together today and put America deep in our hearts and in our lives.    God has richly blessed this United States of America.   Thank God for the freedom we have so long enjoyed.  May the Lord come into each heart, heal lives and heal our land.  God bless America! Sure we have much work ahead of us but this is a great country.  Love it or leave it!

The Star Spangled Banner

O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand,
Between their lov’d homes and the war’s desolation;
Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the heav’n-rescued land
Praise the Pow’r that hath made and preserv’d us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Last stanza of The Star Spangled Banner written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key and the U.S. National Anthem since 1931
