#Pray for America-Spring Forward in Prayer!

Move Ahead With Prayer

Today we moved our clocks ahead one hour. Many of us remembered but as sometimes happens some forgot. Many were prepared, yet some were not. We knew the hour change was coming as we read about it and heard about it. Yet some were not prepared. So it is with the promised coming of Jesus to earth. Many have read about it and have heard about it. Yet, some are not prepared. Where are you? Have you only been made aware? Have you chosen to turn away completely or fully commit later? Or, are you living for the Lord today?

Make Prayer Your Priority

As we progress through Lent, purpose this week to refine your prayer time. If you do not have a consistent prayer practice, start one now. If you have let your prayer time lapse, renew it now. If you are a committed prayer warrior, stand your ground. Whatever the Lord has promised you, He will provide in His perfect timing.

When you pray, make sure to open your heart (for it is always a heart issue) to hear what the Lord would say to you. Prayer is a form of communication. Communication is an exchange of thoughts. Is your prayer time one sided with you doing all the talking? If so, leave some space for an exchange from heaven. The more you build your prayer relationship with the Lord the more open you will become to hearing His still small voice. As with any relationship it will not happen overnight but it will happen if you remain committed.

Look Toward His Coming-Be Ready

We do not have to look far to see Jesus’s very words in the headlines every day. Wars and rumors of wars, nation rising against nation, famines, pestilences and earthquakes saturate the news from minute to minute. The blood of Christian martyrs is spilled in horrifying detail. The proliferation of such upsetting news can render you numb to the continuing onslaught. Now more than ever we must pray without ceasing for this Nation, for each other and for all being persecuted throughout the world.

We do not know the time or the hour that Jesus will return, but we know He will. Do not wait to build your relationship with Him. Do not wait to strengthen your relationship with Him. Start today and work on it every day until He comes. Make no mistake, He is coming back!

Join Your Prayers With Others

In Esther’s Warriors we pray for the fire of revival and reformation; Divine protection and spiritual cover for America; for our military and their families; for the youth; for the body of Christ; for spiritual victory over radical Islam and the revolutionary Muslim community; for Israel; for wisdom and discernment; for a fresh-increased anointing-a double portion for each of us to go forward in the Lord. Please join us in covering these issues in your prayer time. When you expand your vision to include others beyond your own life circle you are broadened exponentially.

This week, enlarge the place of your tent through committed, interactive prayer. Make sure to include thanksgiving for all the Lord has done in your life. It does not matter what is going on in your world, there is still much to be thankful for. Let Him know how much you love Him. This is a relationship after all. Repent for whatever would not be pleasing to Him. He is full of compassion toward you. Let Him know the desires of your heart. He already knows far more than you do about your wants and needs but He wants the interaction of you coming to Him. He awaits.

Quotes to Ponder This Week

“And all things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” ~Jesus, Matthew 21:22

“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” ~Jesus, Matthew 24:6-13

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” ~Jesus, Mark 11:24

“But of that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” ~Jesus, Mark 13:32

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” ~1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

A Prayer Request

Thank you for your continued faithfulness to pray. Please keep all who serve our country, our servicemen and women and their families in prayer for salvation and safety. They are our front-line on the battlefield, let us be their front-line in the spirit. Also, let us cover all who have come home wounded that they and their families will receive the kindness, help and support they need to go forward in their lives. God bless all our diplomatic and military personnel and their families. May the Lord keep them safe.

Pray for all throughout the world for hedges of protection against radical Islamic extremists and all forms of terrorism. Pray for Christians who face violence and death for their faith. We have long prayed for spiritual victory over radical Islam in Esther’s Warriors Ministry. We now see the reality of this threat come to the forefront in this time in world history.

Please pray for all in authority over us, for the full truth to come forth concerning Benghazi. May God richly bless the United States of America, bring to light every single crooked place and keep her safe. The lives lost in Benghazi, the continuing targeting of conservative groups by the Internal Revenue Service, Operation Fast and Furious, the Department of Justice targeting journalists phone records, the National Security Agency overstepping its legal authority are hardly “phony scandals.” We continue to pray for truth to prevail in each of these situations.Pray for the families who have lost loved ones, for those relentlessly targeted and for all of us who are proud to call ourselves American.

May we may arise united once again as One Nation Under God in this auspicious season in our country’s history. These are treacherous times and now more than ever we must maintain our walk with the Lord, saturate this country in prayer and stand for all that is right in America. Fail not in this hour.

Pray for peace in Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Please Join Me In Prayer

Father we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your Son, Jesus Christ. During this Lenten season draw us closer to You. Open our hearts in prayer to hear Your voice and follow Your direction for our life. Grace us to pray without ceasing for our brothers and sisters who suffer at the hands of Islamic terrorists. Open the eyes of our leaders to arise in this season to defend the very belief in You upon which our Nation is founded. Thank You for keeping Your hand on America. We humbly pray this in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen and Amen.
