Let Your Light Shine
As Only You Are Created to Shine!
In unpacking and settling in my new home I came across my collection of dance boots. At one time I was an avid dancer. With a love for music I found dancing to be a great stress reliever. My instructors were a very special Christian couple so the music played created an uplifting atmosphere.
Not only did I learn to hone my dancing skills but I also received much impartation to grow spiritually. I learned volumes during those years from a woman who taught me much about the cleansing and healing power of the blood of Jesus; about the power of coming in agreement and laying hands on others for healing and restoration; about shining by following the unique path set before me by the Lord. As much as I loved the dancing I know that it was the teaching and support of this woman of God that helped me grow in the Lord’s service.
Who Fills Your Boots?
I decided to place some of my favorite boots around the house as a reminder of those days to bring joy to the atmosphere. Adorned with roses and pearls the boots now rest in strategic locations and evoke wonderful memories. One such pair is shown in the picture above. They are silver glitter dance boots that literally lit up the dance floor in their day. Even now the light in the room bounces off them and sends shining light in every direction. In looking at a picture of these shining boots a friend sent me this message: “No one will ever fill those boots but you!”
How very true. I could not help but think, are you filling your boots? Are you shining His light before all? Are you walking out the very unique destiny He has set before you? You see, no one will ever fill your boots but you. God fashioned you in the womb to shine in a very special way in a very special time in history. You are here ‘for such a time as this’ to shine before all.
These Boots Are Made for Walking!
No matter what has gone before in your life, today begins anew. If your boots are headed in the wrong direction, turn them around. If you find yourself surrounded by toxic people who are stewing in their own toxicity, walk away.
Often in life people see through their own filter limited by their unique challenges. They will try to put those same issues on you if you let them. Many medicate their issues rather than dealing with them at the root and removing them. Do not let their bondage bind you. Many live limited by their own perceptions. Do not let the veil that keeps them from freedom cast its shadow on you. The enemy will work through others to confine you and keep you from shining in the way only you can shine. Walk away.
Jesus died to give you life more abundantly. In choosing to follow Him choose that abundant life. Refuse to let anyone steal, kill or destroy the abundant life that is yours. Jesus paid a great price for your freedom. Stand tall in your boots. Stand therefore. Fill your boots as only you can. Dance joyfully before the Lord! Stay ever shod with the Gospel of Peace. Direct those boots to the narrow path that leads to life. You are here in this season ‘for such a time as this!’ “No one will ever fill those boots but you!”

A Prayer Request
Thank you for your continued faithfulness to pray. Please keep all who serve our country, our servicemen and women and their families in prayer for salvation and safety. They are our front-line on the battlefield, let us be their front-line in the spirit. Also, let us cover all who have come home wounded that they and their families will receive the kindness, help and support they need to go forward in their lives. God bless all our diplomatic and military personnel and their families. May the Lord keep them safe.
Pray for all throughout the world for hedges of protection against radical Islamic extremists and all forms of terrorism. Pray for Christians who face violence and death for their faith. We have long prayed for spiritual victory over radical Islam in Esther’s Warriors Ministry. We now see the reality of this threat come to the forefront in this time in world history. As Iranians and Islamic extremists are shouting ‘Death to America,’ let us speak life, hope and a return to God in America!
Please pray for all in authority over us, for the full truth to come forth concerning Benghazi. May God richly bless the United States of America, bring to light every single crooked place and keep her safe. The lives lost in Benghazi, the continuing targeting of conservative groups by the Internal Revenue Service, Operation Fast and Furious, the Department of Justice targeting journalists phone records, the National Security Agency overstepping its legal authority are hardly “phony scandals.” We continue to pray for truth to prevail in each of these situations. Pray for the families who have lost loved ones, for those relentlessly targeted and for all of us who are proud to call ourselves American.
May we may arise united once again as One Nation Under God in this auspicious season in our country’s history. These are treacherous times and now more than ever we must maintain our walk with the Lord, saturate this country in prayer and stand for all that is right in America. Fail not in this hour.
Pray for peace in Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Please Join Me In Prayer
Father we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your Son, Jesus Christ. Teach us to hear only You. Cancel the din of the world around us. Equip us to walk out the specific destiny You have created. Grant us Your wisdom and discernment as we walk the narrow path that leads to life. Lead us to pray without ceasing for our brothers and sisters who suffer at the hands of Islamic terrorists. Open the eyes of our leaders to arise in this season to defend the very belief in You upon which our Nation is founded. Thank You for keeping Your hand on America. We humbly pray this in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen and Amen.
