#Merry Christmas

 ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

In just two days people worldwide will celebrate the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ.  The light from His star led wise men to His manger so long ago.  Today His light continues to shine bright in a darkened world.  Wise men still seek Him.  Once found, His light shines through each of them attracting others to His saving grace.  The immeasurable sanctity of a true relationship with the Son of God forever transforms an earthly life to a Kingdom walk.

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder.  And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”  (Isaiah 9:6)  Jesus’s birth was foretold by the Prophet Isaiah and fulfilled in a stable in Bethlehem.

Choose Wisely

Making the choice to open your heart (and it is always a heart issue) to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior is profound.  For to those who receive Him, He promises in John 15:10-11: “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.  These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”  He brings the fullness of sustained joy if we follow His ways.  We must do our part to maintain a close relationship with Him.

On this Christmas Day purpose in your heart to fully receive Him.  Allow Him to take you from a mundane existence to a Kingdom experience.  If you have never committed to Him do it now.  Acknowledge your mistakes, repent, accept His forgiveness and go forward with Him as the Lord of your life.  The way will be lighter because He goes before you.  He is your rear guard.

Accept the Challenge

If you have long had a relationship with Him, purpose this Christmas Day to revitalize that relationship.  Commit to upholding your end of the relationship through dedicated prayer and Scripture meditation.  I repeat what I said last week: we can no longer remain lukewarm Christians.  We are either in or we are out.  It really is that simple.  I challenge you to deepen your walk with Him.

Nurture a Thankful Heart

Remember all in Newtown, CT and their extended families in your thoughts and prayers this Christmas Day.  Before delving into gifts and food gather your family for a prayer of thanksgiving for all God has blessed you with in each other.  Thank God for all He is in your life.  He never changes.  His faithfulness is forever.

“Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.  For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord…””  (Luke 2:10-11)

A Prayer Request and Personal Blessing

Thank you for your continued faithfulness to pray.  Please keep all who serve our country, our servicemen and women and their families in prayer for salvation and safety.  They are our frontline on the battlefield, let us be their frontline in the spirit.  Also, let us cover all who have come home wounded that they and their families will receive the kindness, help and support they need to go forward in their lives.  God bless all our diplomatic and military personnel and their families.

May God richly bless you and yours this Christmas Day.  May God hold all in Connecticut under the shadow of His wings especially on Christmas day.  May His grace enfold each and every broken heart in that place.  Please pray for all in authority over us, for the full truth to come forth concerning Benghazi and for safety in Israel.  May God richly bless the United States of America and keep her safe.  May we may arise united in this auspicious season in our country’s history.

My Christmas Wish for You

God bless each and every one of you and your families this Christmas Day.  May His light ever shine bright in your heart and in your life.  He is the Son of God and He loves you with an everlasting love.  I thank Him for each of you, for your commitment to prayer and for the blessing you are to me and to this ministry.  I wish you a heartfelt Merry Christmas!!!
