July 4, 2017-Independence Day-God Bless the United States of America! Please Join Us

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Today we commemorate the publication of the Declaration of Independence of our country from Great Britain in 1776.  The birth of our great Nation was established on the bedrock of Judeo-Christian values.  The final paragraph of our Declaration of Independence contains these words:  “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.”(Emphasis added)

As you may know, Esther’s Warriors Ministry was established in early 2008 to intercede for our country.  Just as Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for His chosen people so we go before The King to intercede for this Nation and His people worldwide.    We are in the most divisive time in our history and on the global front.  We are in the most challenging time spiritually.   God has chosen each of us ‘for such a time as this!’  We are here and we come together to join our prayers for our President, our leaders and all in authority over us. We are not to decide whether to pray based on our feelings about individuals.  We are called to pray for all in authority over us.

For it is written:  “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior…”

1Timothy 2:1-3

There are many ministries covering our Nation with prayer.  The Presidential Prayer Team (PPT) is one to which I subscribe.  The PPT puts out a daily email of the meetings and issues facing our President, his staff and the Nation each day.  There are links to current National and global issues that affect us all.  This list is most helpful to strategically pray and to have a full awareness of what is taking place. If you feel led to join us, I have included contact information to sign up for their email. It only takes a few minutes to read each day and pray accordingly. I have also added a summary of their mission taken from their website.  Your prayers are crucial ‘for such a time as this!’

For it is written: “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14

God bless you and keep you under the shadow of His wings.  Thank you for your faithful prayers.  God bless all who have served and continue to serve in our Armed Forces to keep us free.  Keep them safe.  Protect them and their families.  Bring them home safely.   Provide peace and support when they come home.   May God bless America, keep her safe and raise her up as a beacon of light ‘for such a time as this!

“Now in our 15th year, The Presidential Prayer Team has been the source to over 6.4 Million Americans for encouragement and inspiration to pray for America, our President, our national leaders and our Armed Forces.

We believe that  Almighty God rules over the affairs of men…and who moves in response to the prayers of His people. So, with unflinching devotion, members of The Presidential Prayer Team are working everyday to raise the shield of prayer over our beloved country.

And make no mistake about it…the need for prayer has never been greater. So while our Armed Forces safeguard our liberties around the world, we must defend America, here at home, on our knees, in prayer. We must offer prayers unto God that are “powerful and effective” (James 5:16) on behalf of this wonderful country we are blessed to call home, and we need to pray for the President and those who represent us in leadership (I Timothy 2:1-2), that we might experience peace in our land.

We must not fail to pray! Become a Member of The Presidential Prayer Team today. When you do, you’ll join the largest group of intercessors in America, and we’ll provide you with an extensive variety of tools and resources to assist and support your prayer life.

It’s always free to join – no obligations – you may cancel at any time. Our ministry is supported by the love gifts of God’s people who believe in the power of prayer for our nation.”  Taken from the Presidential Prayer Team Website
