Stay Focused on the Things of God
Not on Things of the World!
Greetings as we enter the last week of October, 2013! Soon we will be celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas in a whirlwind of gatherings with friends and family. Sadly, this season can become one of extreme materialism and acquisition fatigue. Set your sights now to stay focused on what is important to safeguard yourself in the next few months.
Which Window Do You See Through?
I am preparing to have new replacement windows put in my home tomorrow. I looked at the window pictured above and could not help but think about our ability to see. On the left the window is clear allowing a beautiful view of the woods. However on the right the seal is broken. Air and moisture have leaked in from the outside. Over time these intrusions between the glass panes have clouded the vision of the trees.
How is your vision? Is it fresh and crisp? Or, has it become clouded by outside effects of the world? If you break the seal of your relationship with the Lord, worldly distractions will gradually seep into your heart (it is always a heart issue).
Over time such diversions will begin to cloud your vision. Your relationship with God can erode.
The window did not cloud up overnight. Similarly, if not safeguarded, your vision will fade in stages. You may not even notice at first. Perhaps you will notice being anxious, fearful or doubting. Perhaps you have listened to voices of worldly thinking rather than the voice of the Spirit.
Remember, the Kingdom of God operates in a way very different from what you hear or see in this world. He is God. He can change things in the blink of an eye in His timing. I know this to be sure because He healed me from stage 4 cancer when a doctor said, “You would have been dead within a week.” Do not let the words of man seep into your heart and cloud your vision.
God’s Word is the only one that matters.
Call Back Your Vision!
You may have walked in the past sure of where the Lord was taking you. You may have been solid in believing that His hand is on your situation. If you find yourself looking through a clouded window of faith with a troubled vision, arise. Know that God does in fact have His hand on every single facet of your circumstance! He knows every single hair on your head so He certainly knows your situation.
Seek Him for clarity of vision once more. Commit to His Word and upholding your end of the relationship you have with Him. He will never leave or forsake you. How are you doing with your side of your relationship with God?
Believe me, the season we are in is not one in which you can falter. We must be warriors. Hold tight to your sword, the Word of God. Hold tight to the promises of God contained therein. They are true and they are for an appointed time in your life. Arise! The time is now. Seal your vision ‘for such a time as this!’

A Prayer Request
Thank you for your continued faithfulness to pray. Please keep all who serve our country, our servicemen and women and their families in prayer for salvation and safety. They are our front-line on the battlefield, let us be their front-line in the spirit. Also, let us cover all who have come home wounded that they and their families will receive the kindness, help and support they need to go forward in their lives.
God bless all our diplomatic and military personnel and their families. May the Lord keep them safe. Pray for all throughout the world for hedges of protection against radical Muslim extremists and all forms of terrorism. We have long prayed for spiritual victory over radical Islam in Esther’s Warriors Ministry. We now see the reality of this threat come to the forefront in this time in world history.
Please pray for all in authority over us, for the full truth to come forth concerning Benghazi (N.B. 60 Minutes tonight, 10/27/13, has an interview with an eyewitness from the Benghazi terror strike…do not miss it!) and for safety in Israel. May God richly bless the United States of America, bring to light every single crooked place and keep her safe. May we may arise united once again as One Nation Under God in this auspicious season in our country’s history.
We continue to pray for truth to prevail as we saturate this country in prayer and stand for all that is right in America and for all of us who call ourselves American. These are treacherous times and now more than ever we must maintain our walk. Fail not in this hour.

Father we thank You for being ever faithful to number even the hairs on our head. You know our coming and going and have Your hand of every circumstance. Grace us with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Teach us to diligently seek You and all Your ways in our life that we may be used to bring Your Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. We pray this in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen and amen.
