“For Such a Time as This!”
Are you believing for a miracle in your life? Your miracle could be for restoration of health, relationship, finances or a myriad of other issues. Many are so focused on their big desired miracle that they miss the voluminous miracles taking place daily right in front of them.
Have you become so focused on your miracle that you have become angry with God for not producing instantly? Are you so focused on your miracle that you no longer walk in thanksgiving for all that you do have in your life? Are you so focused on your miracle that you have lost focus on the miracle worker Himself?
Life is a journey. Your situation is a part of that journey. If you are a true follower of Christ you allow Him to lead you on the journey…you do not try to lead Him and get upset with Him because He does not perform the way you want Him to or in your given time frame. Learn through the journey.
Ask His Spirit to open your heart (for it is always a heart issue) to see and release root issues that have kept you bound in each aspect of your life. Seek wisdom and discernment from Him.
Determine to stop complaining and discussing every negative thing with others. This not only affects your spirit and ultimately your entire mental, emotional and physical body but it also affects those with whom you are sharing and those around you.
To follow Jesus Christ is a sacred journey. It is at times a difficult journey. The only way to make this journey positive for your spirit and those around you is to decide to be “all in.” If you keep one foot in the world with all the worldly ways of gossip, negativity, etc., and one foot in the Kingdom you will have a stress riddled ride to be sure.
Know that your very life is a miracle!
Cherish that miracle. Use that miracle to bring the miraculous to others.
Jesus preached the Kingdom of God. If you truly follow Him your life should be progressively more representative of the Kingdom of God. You are here “for such a time as this” to bring His Kingdom to earth as it is in heaven.
It is completely your choice. Seek your miracle. Believe for your miracle. Just do not make an idol or a god out of that miracle. Do not let you focus on that miracle be so huge that it overtakes and shrouds your relationship with Him and the rest of your life.
For it is written:
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18
