Daily Inspiration-Do You Live In Uncertainty?

Do you live in uncertainty?  Uncertainty can stop or at least slow your momentum toward breakthrough.  Uncertainty can become a setback.

The level or depth of setback is directly correlated to the extent you let the uncertainty lead you.  Do you simply question whether or not God can set your situation right?  Or, do you go down the trail to despair?  Do you fully give up, looking only at what you see around you?  Or, do you simply park in your situation and complain about it and everyone around you?  Think about it.  This is where faith and trust come in to play.

Faith is not just reciting all the scriptures that say God can do something.  It is knowing without doubt that He will move in His time and perfect will.  It is a heart issue at the deepest level.  And, it is always a heart issue!

You can spout scripture all day long but if it is only in your head and has never reached the depth of your heart it will afford you little.  To be sold out to Christ is to press toward the upward call of God in Jesus Christ.  The upward call requires rising above what you see.

To gain and maintain spiritual momentum you may at times need to regroup-step back a bit- to hear God’s perfect direction before moving forward.  Think of an archer using a bow and arrow.  He must first draw the arrow back before releasing it to go forward with speed to reach the intended target.

Do you need to draw back to line up with God in this season and then press forward with renewed momentum?  Do not let uncertainty lead you.  Let faith and trust in the living God, who can do exceedingly and abundantly above all you can think or imagine, lead you with complete certainty!

For it is written:

Run in such a way that you may obtain itTherefore I run thus: not with uncertainty.”

1 Corinthians 9:24b, 26

“I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 3:14
