Daily Inspiration-An Upside Down Realm…

Do you ever want something right now?  Tired of waiting?  Often, God’s delay is not His denial.

In this microwave society we can think that if something does not happen in a nano-second God must be saying no.  He may be, but often He is just saying ‘wait.’  He may be working out something in your heart (for it is always a heart issue), the heart of another or in the situation.  He may have something far better in store for you than what you can think or imagine.

Often, it is easy to run down scenario after scenario in your mind of exactly how something should play out.  Did you ever ruminate so much on a given situation that you had every single detail perfectly figured out?  Guess what?  That is not how God works in your life.  If you are truly submitted to Him then you must learn to walk by faith and not by what you see or think in the natural.  You must learn to trust Him with every part of your life.

This is the challenge of a surrendered life especially when the world’s ways call so loudly.

If you are Kingdom know that you live in an upside down realm.  What works in the world  most often does not at all reflect a Kingdom perspective or walk.  Seek wise counsel.  Enlist strong prayer partners to pray in agreement with you and pray you through. This does not mean to engage with self-professed Christians who see prayer requests as gossip fodder.  Avoid them at all costs.  Such behavior is quite carnal.  Find Kingdom people and support one another in this season.

Wait for His direction.  Do not get ahead of Him.  Follow Him as He really does have your very best interest at heart.

For it is written:

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”

 Isaiah 55:8-9

Remember, it is always a heart issue!

“Yet who knows whether you have come to the Kingdom for such a time as this?”
