Be Established-Believe in Faith!

ESTHER’S WARRIORS MINISTRY

I pray this finds you well and prospering as the days countdown toward the Presidential Election.  This week we will listen to the candidate debates.  As we pray for our Nation let us pray for wisdom and discernment for all who are participating in the debates and for all who are listening to what is being said.  May ears hear beyond the rhetoric and eyes see past the veil in Jesus’ name.  There has been much back peddling to change what we the people were originally told about the killings of our people at the United States Embassy in Libya.  There has been much back peddling on many pronouncements coming from Washington.  May God hear our prayers and heal our land.

What Do You Really Believe?

While reading Isaiah I kept reading the phrase, “…it shall come to pass,” repeated over and over.  I could not help but think, how often do we doubt that whatever God has shown us, whatever He has placed in our spirit and confirmed to us, will come to pass?

When the Lord sent Isaiah to meet with King Ahaz, He spoke this message in Isaiah 7:9b, “If you will not believe, surely you shall not be established.”  In looking up this use of established in Strong’s Concordance the following words were included:  nurture, care for, trustee, faithful, sure, be a guardian, trusted, stand fast.

Be Firmly Planted

To be established in the Lord is to be under His care and available to be used by Him as a representative of His Kingdom on earth.  It is to be reliable in His ways and able to endure and persevere daily toward the work of the Kingdom and the vision He has planted in your spirit.  To be established is to not give up despite how things may look in the natural.

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are ‘established’ as His Kingdom emissaries.  To walk out that choice requires faith in the face of many seemingly impossible situations.  It is sometimes difficult to remember that with God ALL things are possible.  Not some things but ALL things are possible with Him.  He will establish us and fulfill every promise He has made no matter how incredible it may appear.  Know that and believe it.

Believe Without Doubt

Jesus says in Mark 11:24, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”  ‘Whatever’ means just that.  Jesus does not say to ask only for what would appear easy or within our reach.  He says ‘whatever.’  The key is to believe when we pray.  We believe in faith. We do not doubt in our heart (and it is always a heart issue).  The rest is up to Him.  He is faithful to perform in His time and in His will.  Know that.  Believe that.

‘Pray the States’

Join us this week as we ‘pray the states’ toward the 2012 Presidential election.  We are praying for each state in the order of admission to the Union.  Please cover Colorado admitted to the Union August 1, 1876, in prayer.  Pray for wisdom and discernment for the political leaders, pastors and church leaders, the people residing in Colorado and for all in our Nation.  Each state is important in forming our United States of America.  We commit to pray for a different state each week so we not only provide prayer cover but also to make us aware that our country is bigger than the space we personally occupy in it. These are our United States.  Let us pray that we will arise united ‘for such a time as this!’
Please repost and share.

“…both religion and democracy are founded on one basic principle, the worth and dignity of individual man and woman…Dictatorship, by whatever name, is founded on the doctrine that the individual amounts to nothing; that the State is the only thing that counts…This is a supreme opportunity for the Church to continue to fulfill its mission on earth… [and to] provide the shock forces to accomplish this moral and spiritual awakening. No other agency can do it.  Unless it is done, we are headed for the disaster we would deserve.”  President Harry Truman, 1946

A Prayer Request and Personal Blessing

Thank you for your continued faithfulness to pray.  Please keep our servicemen and women and their families in prayer for salvation and safety.  They are our frontline on the battlefield, let us be their frontline in the spirit.  Also, let us cover all who have come home wounded that they and their families will receive the kindness, help and support they need to go forward in their lives.  God bless all our military personnel and their families.   May God richly bless the United States of America and keep her safe.

Please hold in prayer the families of the embassy staff and everyone who has risked all to serve our country.

May God richly bless you and remove any doubt from your heart as you pursue Him and the vision He has given you.    May we may arise united in this auspicious season in our country’s history.
